Who Owns All Authorities?

“I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Revelation 22:13

Whatever you have seen in your life has all existed long ago even before you were born. You can never know the beginning of certain things, and what you may have learnt about them through history is often not accurate.

The history of life is such that men tried and still trying to find out why some issues are the way they are and the need to recreating them just to satisfy the human desire.

In spite of all efforts, every man should understand and some already have that God is the only one who knows it all. Let us look at the verse again; God is the beginning and the last. There is no need getting a dictionary to define what this mean. He is the creator of the entire world. He created you and I. Without His decision to create life and all that are in it, there will never be any thing called CREATION.

And this means we would not have existed. This is why you must never forget to acknowledge the supremacy of God in your life. To Him alone are all glory, honour and adoration, amen.

So whatever you want, no matter what you want to be in life, or how you want to create your desired destiny, all of these you can get from God and without any stress. You cannot do outside of Him. He is the only one to help you. He owns all authorities, and power to raise you higher than your imagination.

Give yourself willingly to Him right away and let Him take charge of your life.

Peace!

What Is In Your World?

“The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.” Proverbs 18:15 (KJV)

Life becomes easier, peaceful and lovely when you know why you are here on earth and you are able to maximise the potential of God’s gift upon your life. And the only way you can fully say to yourself that you have been able to fulfil many of your goals, your destiny and desires is for you to have knowledge.

Trust me, you can’t create a better world for you without the knowledge of God in your life. This is what will help you to change, remake, and develop the real you. And also for you to get this divine knowledge, then you have to have wisdom.

The two work hand-in-hand and there is no way you can separate them. Being judicious about life, the things that surround you, events that occur each and very hour of the day is very vital for your Christian living.

Do not just push aside the thought of acquiring knowledge. Rather work on it, be wise, and seek to be prudent so that you can be endowed with divine knowledge of God.

Peace!

Sincerity with Love

“I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others.” 2 Corinthians
8:8 (NIV)

In your Christian journey of life, your faith will be tested in many ways. You will be tested through your speech, your conducts, your attitude to people and your world, and equally your manner of living.

And as you are being tested, you are to prove your sincerity for God and His sovereignty. You need to prove it without any doubt how much you love God, how much you are willing for, to promote His kingdom and how ready you are at all times to listen to His divine instructions.

When you say you love God, then you have His love within you, and that love will be tested too. And when you are found truly to be for God, then you will be required to test your love by comparing it with others.

How do you do this? It will be mostly by your ways of life? You are not the one to determine how people will know the sincerity of your love. They would find this out by watching you, what you say, digging deeper into your personal life and many more.

Remember, people are not the one solely to test your sincerity for God’s love. He also will do that, to see your patient, your perseverance, your commitment and of course your willingness to live your entire life for Him.

Be a good example of sincerity with love, and let the world see the differences between you and the others. In fact, make it your duty to stand out, to live your whole life for the divine love of God.

Peace!

Who Are You?

“My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” John 10:27

The way of the Lord is not difficult and also His instructions are not demanding. When you declare you allegiance to God, then you have to focus on building your relationship with Him.

This, you have to do in every aspect of your life, in your speech, in your attitude, your conducts as well as you relationship with people.

Are you God’s child? Then you have to obey His voice. You have to follow Him with your entire heart, and not halfway through. God is not happy when you proclaim you are His but your personal life is not straightforward.

Believe me, my dear brethren, you will experience lots and lots of temptations but you have to fully come to the understanding that your life is no longer the way it used to be and that now, you are for God, so you must strive, even harder, to live for Him.

If you are for God, then you will hear His voice, obey His instructions, live according to His will and be in profound relationship with Him. It is not just by word of mouth but equally by what you do, how you live and what direction is your life at the moment.

To follow God with your whole heart and without any biases has its own best result. I have never seen anyone who faithfully follow God and be let just like that. God lifts up His own people. He ensures all go well with them. He is forever with them in times of trials, problems and whatever. In fact, God shares His Sheep’s tears, happiness, pain, emotions, passions, and love.

He is not a God that will fail to hear His own Sheep. He is neither deaf nor dumb. His ears are over the righteous to deliver them from every calamity and chaos of life.

The question you need to ask yourself is; are you God’s Sheep?

Peace!

The Reason For My Hope

“Saying, What think ye of Christ? Whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.’ Matthew 23:42

Many people want to know or still doubt about who is Christ.  And to you, who is He?

To me, He is the Son of the Living God. He is the reason why I am alive, here and able to post this. He is Jehovah Shammah, and my hope of everlasting life.

He is Jesus Christ, the hope of the entire world!

Peace!

How Far Can You be Proud?

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. [Or willing to do menial work] Do not be conceited.” Romans 12:16 (NIV)

Everything you are, all that you have and whatever you will be in life, God knows all these. There is nothing that escapes the eyes of God. He sees all and He knows all. In spite of His supremacy and sovereignty, God is humble. He does not lift Himself up anyhow. He has the ability to do so yet He is full of humility, and for this, He brought himself low, came from heaven, born of a woman, tell us about His beloved kingdom, died a shameful death for us and resurrected so that we may live on.

God is exceedingly marvellous! I love God and I am blessed to be part of His kingdom.

If God is humble, then why are you so proud of yourself? Why not live out your life like Christ? When you get to the point in your life where you will say that you are too big to mix up with some people or other people, then you are a proud person.

And God does not love someone with pride. He created us all to be equal and for this reason, it does not matter if you are richer than some people, or if you are in higher position in your life, in your job, in your family, in your society or wherever than them.

Your humility, I mean your sincere humble life will speak for you. You don’t have to show off to people before they will know how great you are. Beside, none is greater than God.

Do not look down on people, because if you do, then you are looking for trouble. When you humble yourself, and you treat people with love, true joy and companion, then God will continue to life you up.

Do not forget that God is the one who created you and these people, and that you are in higher status than them is just a privilege and a chance. So do not misuse your chances; otherwise, you do this at your own peril.

I have seen many wealthy people who don’t show they are. In fact, you can hardly know they are. They are very simple, respectful, humble and friendly to be with.

Make it your duty to live a humble life. It is not difficult to be simple in life. If you are struggling with this, then pray to God to help you. He alone is able to do all things according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Peace!

Make it Your Duty

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus.” Romans 15:5

There is no doubt that a house divided against itself, shall fall. When there is no unity among believers, then there will be strife. There is much chaos going on in the church of God and among believers these days and they look as if the discords are meant to destabilise the people of God.

When we are in the church, and we envy one another, or we are jealous of each other, or we talk endlessly against another brethrens, then there won’t be peace.

God calls us so that we can partake in His glory, to live out our entire lives for Him, to be different in everything we do so that people can differentiate us from the unbelievers.

But when we do not show that we truly are Christians, but we go on showing and behaving like the unbelievers, then what happened to the image of Christ in our lives?

We need unity to conquer the world. And for this, we must pray, pray and pray at all times to God to help us, to gives us the unity we need to live our Christian life.

There is no need living for the downfall of other. We don’t gain anything in wishing bad or evil to our fellow brothers. We must unite, love, and cherish one another.

God gives us this assignment for His own glory and honour, so that the entire world will come to Him through us.

Make it your earnest duty to bring peace to the lives of your fellow Christians, to love them, to support them, to make it openly known to them that you are indeed for Christ and not the other way round.

Peace!

Why Must You Waste Your Time to Pray?

“And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” Matthew 21:22

It is absolutely needful that you pray but it is equally important to believe in the power of your prayer. Tell me, how do you expect your prayer request to be answered when you don’t have confidence in it?  Don’t you think you are wasting your time to pray when you don’t believe that God will answer you?

Prayer is a must, so also is believing. If you believe, it means you have faith, and when you have it, then life will be easy to you.  You won’t see fear in the face of life, because all that will come to you will solely be extreme confidence.

It does not matter what your requests are, God is able to do all things according to His riches in glory. With God, all things are possible and thus, be not afraid.

Just pray and believe with all your heart that God has answered your request(s).

Peace!

How does the World see You?

“Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus” Philippians 2:5 (NIV)

Do you say you are Christian?  Then let your attitude be like that of Christ! Do not profess to be a believer; someone who carries the image of Christ and then your life is no different from that of the unbelievers.

Let everyone in your world and around you see Christ in you. Make it your duty to show God and not the devil in whatever you are doing. It will be of no use when we cannot differentiate you from the unbeliever.

You don’t have to live a two-way life. If you are for Christ, then you must remain steadfast for Him. You must prove to the world that you are for God and not the other way round.

Your attitude is important. And this is what you must work on. If you think you don’t have the attitude of Christ and you want to, then you must work so hard on it. Pray to God to help you, tell the Holy Spirit to lead you in your daily life, to give you the attitude of Christ.

God is love. He wants everyone to come to Him, and He is forever ready to help you. So please, let your attitude be that of Christ.

Peace!

You Are Not A Vain

“But Noah found favour in the sight of the Lord.” Genesis 6:8 (NRSV)

Favour, this is something divine that once you have it upon your life, then you are blessed. The favour of God changes the life of a man in so many dramatic ways that one hardly never imagine.

People in the days of Noah were deep in sin, stubborn, idol worshippers, homosexuals, lesbians, full of evil practices, very annoying and provoking. They no longer serve God but rather, went on to serve the false images, to married their daughters and sons, to create solid alliances with evil nations, and did as they like.

God tried so hard to warn them, and He remained patient that they would change, but these people were just disobedient. They went further, plunging the more into their bad ways.

Then God decided to wipe out the entire human race, regretting He created them. In fact, this is applicable in many homes where you will hear mother publicly regretting having given birth to her child who is wayward. You can equally see this between stranded couple, while one of them openly says she regrets her relationship.

It takes enough acts for someone to get fed up about the other person. It is not possible to just get up and call someone evil unless that person did something that called for being tagged as evil. This is the exact point with human races during the days of Noah.

They are nation with stupidity, arrogant, and full of debaucheries. No matter how much God tend to warn them, these people were not ready to listen.

But then the Bible says in the above verse that among all these people, Noah found favour in the sight of God. Incredible! This just means that no matter how long evil tries to penetrate, the good will surely prevail.

Without Noah, I bet God would have wiped out them all, and that’s the end of all lives. Noah prevented this from happening through his faith. He loved God. He saw all that happened around him but Noah refused to join them all in the evil acts.

Rather, Noah continued to remain faithful to God, to worship Him, to serve Him, to tell the world about Him even when they refused to listen.

I don’t think we would have existed if Noah hadn’t found favour in the sight of God. It is Noah’s profound faith that saved us today.

A little act of faith is able to tackle any thing. Because of Noah, human kind is not totally wiped out.

Your faithfulness to God is not a waste, should in case you have been thinking in that direction. It may tarry but when you are consistent with God, in due season, He will prove Himself in your life and bring you favour from all sides.

Stand firm in your faith in God. Do not join the world in their ways but look unto Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. Rest your hope in the God, serve Him without any hesitation, reverence Him, adore Him, glorify Him, and honour Him.

Peace!

Pray to Fall Into The Hands of God

“David said to Gad, “I am in deep distress. Let me fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is very great; but do not let me fall into the hands of men.” 1 Chronicles 21:13 NIV

It is so easy for any of us to commit a crime. And it all depends on what level is our offenses. I mean it is normal. We are human and this is sure to come.

We are not immortal, nor are we perfect. It is the grace of God that makes us all perfect, and without this grace upon our lives, we no doubt are prone to evil acts.

The bible says the heart of man is desperate, corrupt and evil, who can understand it.

I thank God for the precious gift of salvation, for the immeasurable love and the mercy He gives us. Without these and many more from Him, we are absolutely nothing.

This is why when we commit any crime, and we go to God, asking Him for forgiveness, He is forever ready and will forgive us, But what about men? Have you been able to see any man who will wholly forgive and forget, forever?

No! God is the only one whom we can offend, and He will forgive us, entirely. When you offend your fellow human, maybe your friend, your spouse, your children, or anyone, this person will never fully forgive you, because later on, this person will still come to remind you of what you did to him or her previously.

God does not remind us of our wrongdoings. Once He forgives us, then it’s over. He no longer remembers what we did. He no longer has the record of our offenses.

But can a fellow man be like God? Impossible! Thank God for God! Thank God for His supremacy, without which we would have been in trouble. I give thanks to the almighty Father, the creator of heavens and earths, the I AM THAT I AM, the ONE who is and who is to come, the Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Shammah, Jehovah Shalom, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Elohim, Jehovah Adoniah, unto Him be all glory forever and ever, amen.

Pray at all times not to fall into the hands of men, because the consequences are grave. Men will be men, and you have to be very careful not to fall into their hands. Instead, pray to fall into the hands of God, because if you do, He will raise you up, forgive you, and remould you into a better image.

Peace!

How Pride Destroys

“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.” Proverbs 11:2

It is normal when you show your joy over something, such as you passing your exam, achieving a solid goal, winning huge money or house, or finding your life transform into a better one.

But what happen when that joy of yours becomes a beast to you? That is, taking total control of you until you are no longer conscious of your environment or people around you? Then it means you have allowed PRIDE to come in.

Pride easily slips in anybody’s life. You don’t have to invite it before it comes. Too much of showing off, or becoming uncontrollable, are all evidences of pride. There is no one with pride in his life that will succeed.

It brings more of chaos, headache and pain to its carrier. In fact, pride is a beast, and once you allow it, then you automatically incur several human enemies for you.

People don’t like to associate with anyone full of pride, because that person tends to think he alone knows it all, and no one else does.

Also, a person full of pride won’t notice when goodness passes him by, because as far as he is concerned, he has all the goodness he needs without him realising he’s merely building hope on empty air.

Do not allow pride to ruin your life, I mean if you have it or notice you do. With pride, there is no way you can give chance to the Spirit of God to manifest in your life. There is absolutely no way the Holy Spirit will operates in the life of a proud man.

When you humble yourself before God, then He will give you wisdom and lift you up. Do not be so stupid to tell God that you don’t need Him in your life.

Get wisdom through mastering humility. Respect God. Honour the Holy Spirit. Show reverence to our Lord Jesus Christ. Treat every living soul you see in and around you with lots of love.

Avoid pride so that your Christian faith will not suffer shame. I bet you wouldn’t want to be nailing our Lord Jesus Chris back to the cross through your nasty pride.

Peace!

If Only You Allow Him

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” Isaiah 49: 15 (NIV)

The love God has for us is more than any you can compare. His love is even more than that of mother and child. His love is everlasting, and does not change. A mother may get to a point in her life that she will disown her child, based on his action, but God never does this.

He will forever love you even if you mess up, run away and come back to him. His mercy is irreversible, because He delights in showing and showering his mercy upon His people.

You know what? Everyone close to you may run away at the moment when you need him or her most. They may abandon you or they may even forget you, but God won’t do that.

Rest your faith, your hope, and your life in the hands of God. He will lift you up. You don’t have to bother running from one mortal to mortal in need of help. All you need to do is come to God, because He is every ready to help you, if only you allow Him.

Peace!

Faithfulness — Does it worth it?

“But Ruth said, “Do not press me to leave you or turn back from following you! Where you go, I will go; where you lodge, I will lodge; your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die, I will die — there will I be buried. May the Lord do thus and so to me, and more as well, if even death parts me from you!” Ruth 1:16-17

It takes extreme faithfulness and commitment for someone to do just as the Biblical Ruth did, with her mother-in-law, Naomi.

It is true that these days, many mothers-in-law, are catastrophes, and unfriendly to be with. In fact, many wives are not in nice relationship with their mothers-in-law, not because they choose to but they don’t just get along.

The case of Ruth and Naomi, is such beautiful one that went deeper, and created solid relationship that lasted throughout the generations, even until now.  If you go back to the history, you will see that Ruth was in the lineage of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ruth was a wonderful woman, someone who loved everyone and not selfish, I mean just thinking about her own family. She lost her husband, but she stayed so firm by Naomi, and not deserted the old woman.  Orpah, her sister-in-law, and wife to either late Mahlon or Chilion, gave up and returned to her family, probably to married someone else, and to start a new life.

But Ruth was determined. There was no doubt she’d loved her late husband. Now that man was gone, Ruth saw no hope in abandoning her mother-in-law, nor the life she’d created with her late husband. She wanted to maintain that family even without the man.

And above all, she loved Naomi! And she remained faithful to the old woman. Naomi, seeing how her daughter-in-law insisted, did not push her further but accepted her. It was Naomi who joined Ruth and Boaz together as man and wife.

As result of Ruth’s faithfulness, Naomi did all she could, instructed Ruth on what to do to get closer and be friendly with Boaz. Without the love between both women, nothing would have been successful.

This showed the love, the faithfulness and the bond.  When you are faithful to someone, and this is genuine, of course, more blessings will flow your way.

Faithfulness does not just end anyhow. It goes across the spheres, to being you multiple blessings, such that you never imagine. This is why you must come to understand that you need faithfulness in your relationship with God. The Lord is faithful to you in every way. And the evidences of this, you see in how He protects you, bless you, promote you, heal you, provides for you.

So why can’t you reciprocate His faithfulness in your life? Why do you have to remain unfaithful to Him buy serving your own consciousness? Do you think your life is worth it that you should play hanky-panky game with God?

If you are faithful to God as He is to you, then you are in for a life of abundant grace, blessings, and lots and lots of happiness.

Make it your duty to remain faithful to God!

Peace!
