DO NOT WAIT UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE

“Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him; Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee” St Mark 5:19

A man possessed by the devil was healed by Jesus. Afterward, he that was healed came to Jesus and wanted to stay with Him to be one of His disciples but Jesus made the statement in the above verse that the man show go and show himself to his friends.

It is not that Jesus does not want the man to be with Him but this man had suffered once while he was possessed. He must have been a man of influence before this illness. He may have been someone with many friends and acquaintances but with such sickness that got hold of him, sure there is no way anyone of his friends would love to be recognised with him.

They must have deserted him while he was in his sickness. If someone is possessed by the devil, it means that such person will be acting with madness or highest degree of craziness. It depends of how affected that person is.

So definitely, all the relatives, friends and acquaintances of this man were no longer with him. they have disappeared long ago. Even if they sighted him on the road while he was still possessed, they surely would have done everything to avoid him recognising them.

Now, this man is healed. He came to realised how much he had been on the street as a mad man. He was aware of what this meant in his society and thus he was shamed. He knew that none of his friends or those that are once with him had turned their backs against him

The only option he knew was to give himself up to Jesus, thinking that if he stayed as His disciple that he will be most welcome and no one will laugh at him or called him a ‘once-upon-a-mad-man’

But Jesus has different thought for this man. Jesus Christ instructed this man to go back to his relatives, his friends and all his acquaintances and showed himself to them. Jesus wants that through this man, everyone who had rejected this man would be ashamed and begged for forgiveness before they will reconcile with him.

So this man obeyed Jesus and went. Of course, he recovered his lost image before the people BUT he did not stop there. He began to preach the gospel BY testifying to what God has done for him.

How long have you been testifying to the world and to those around you about what God has done, been doing and will still do in your life? Do you want to wait until God tells you to share your testimony with others? Or do you want to wait until God has fulfil your prayer request before you can then testify?

The more you share God’s wonderful deeds and His love to people, the more God continue to manifest Himself in your life.

What are you waiting for? Do not be ungrateful! Get out there and tell the entire world how much God has done, is doing and will still do for you!

HOW YOU CAN SECURE YOUR FUTURE FROM NOW

“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips; giving thanks to his name.” Hebrews 13:15

I would like to make it clear here that we are not forced to render praises to God.

It is our profound duty to reverence God in every aspect of our lives. By acknowledging Him through the fruits of our lips, it does not just mean praising Him alone. It equally means through testifying of His works in our lives to others, through our constant acknowledgment of His existence, through our sincere gratitude for what He’s continually doing for us.

We are required to praise God every second of our lives because by doing this, we not only show that we appreciate all that God has been doing for us but that we truly love Him.

The verse mean do not stop praising God. No matter where you are, whether at work, on the street, in a meeting, at your home, on your bed, in the church, with your kids and spouse, you must keep on praising God.

You don’t have to open your mouth widely and let the entire world or those around you be aware that you are praising God. You can do that in your heart. Silence praises is more genuine and deeper than open ones.

Praising God further develops your stands in God so much that you just can’t help it but to keep on walking in the way of a true Christian. Also praising God gives you more wisdom and understanding that are beyond your wildest imagination.

Another great benefit of praising God continually is that your praises touch God’s heart dearly that He will be forced to act on your behalf in your issues of life.

God loves you to praise Him. By just saying ‘God, I thank you for my life’ is not a waste but a sincere confession from you that you really are grateful to be alive, to be who you are, and for where you are going in the future.

Finally, when you praise God, you are doing the best of all, and that is, you are securing your future!

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

“That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life” St. John 3:15

Believing God for everything in your life, trusting Him for your yesterday, today and future is just what you need. When you trust someone, it shows that you have somehow relied on that person for something. And you are sure that this person will not disappoint you.

Trust is very powerful. It shows your allegiances to someone. Without trust for someone, you won’t feel any motivation to rest you cases on that person. In fact, you won’t regard such person with respect or awe.

And when there is trust between you and that person, you will be ready to carry on with such person because you have the confidence that you are safe.

This is applicable to God. If you trust God and believe Him for everything you need in life, of course, you won’t be afraid of disappointment because if will never come. And you will have great confidence because you know deep within your heart that all your burdens, your concerns and your desires are being taken care of.

God is aware of what you need and He will surely do it. All He wants from you is that you should trust Him, believe me because He is the rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.

So why not give God the chance in your life from now on. Do not worry about how He will show up in your cases. Just rely on Him and please, I implore you, just BELIEVE HIM!

ALWAYS

“Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” Isaiah 48:17

It’s a great revelation for you as Christian to know that God is the one in charge of your life that he inspires you always, teaching you how to go about succeeding in your business or profession.

Some of us would have surely made irreversible errors in our lives, in our business, in career-choosing, decision-making, marital choices and many more but because we give God the ultimate chance to help us, to direct our path, to show us what to do in diverse situations, to inspire us, to send answers to our disturbing questions, and most important to rule out lives, for these reasons and many more, we have discovered great successes including advancement in our lives.

Aren’t we grateful for having this wonderful privilege?

Every second of my life, I have never seized to reflect so much on God’s blessings, the inexplicable changes he makes in my life and still doing. Believe me, it pays to give God the chance and the space to work through you.

When God is all you depend on, He will teach you all you need to know about life, and of course everything you want in life to excel.

There is no attachment required from you by God before you can come to Him. There is not fee you must pay before you can get access to Him. He is always waiting; He never gets weary of waiting for you to come to Him, to drop all your burdens on His shoulders, to trust Him 100% for your life.

Start to experience God’s abundant blessings specially attributed to you by trusting Him today to make everything new and perfect for you. Remember God will forever be there for you.

OUR AMAZING GOD!

“For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.” Isaiah 64:4

God works in mysterious ways. And none of us can comprehend how He does things, the way He would go about it. For this and many more, show just why God is not and will never be like us.

In spite of scientific approaches of mankind, nobody has been able to define so many creations of God.

Look at the verse above; it simplifies the entire definition of how God works. And if you are able to discover what God will do for you ahead of the time He will do it, then there is no point in His supremacy.

This is why when God is going to act on your behalf, or He is set to do something new in your life, He does come to you to ask for your approval. He just does it! And when He does it, you are filled with so much awe for Him.

That is what God wants; for you to marvel at His wonders, His works, His miracles, His blessings upon your life.

Isn’t it wonderful that God has so much in store for you? Aren’t you glad that God prepares lots and lots of great things for you as you rely 100% upon Him?

If you have not yet fully give your trust unto God, to lead you in your journey of life, then you better do that right away. I bet you wouldn’t want to miss out of God’s abundant blessings and gifts that He has prepared for His children.

So what are you waiting for?

IS BARRACK OBAMA YOUR gOD?

“To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like?” Isaiah 46:5

Many people have made their fellow human being their gods. It is so funny when you see how people worship others in the name of having iconic status.

With the election of President Barrack Obama, thousands of people indeed have forgotten their faithful stand as believers as they now worship this man in their speech, in their conducts, in their normal lives and dealings with people as if Barrack Obama is God.

You must not forget that there is only one God and He is creator of the world. We all know there is absolutely no one like Him and never will there be another like Him.

When a Christian forgets his duty and obligation as God’s child, and starts comparing his fellow human being to God, then he is heading for his downfall.

Lots of people prefer to like God to their own biological parents, their husbands, their brothers, their uncles, their friends, their colleagues, their bosses, their pastors and many more. No matter what someone must have done to help you in your life, no matter how much someone has supported or still supporting you financially, no matter how much you fall headily in love with someone, no matter how much affection you have for your child, please do understand that these people or that person is not God!

Do not compare God to other person or people in your life because God is not mortal. He is God and to Him be all glory and Honour. For once, avoid making God equal to those you love.

Give your ultimate priority to God because it is in Him that your joy of life is. Without God, believe me, you are nothing. When God is fully occupying your life, when you make God your best friend, confidant, father, husband, and everything in your life then nothing will shake you because you have the greatest assurance that God is forever there for you.

Please flee from comparing God to Barrack Obama or whosoever you have in your life. Stop worshipping man. Give honour to God and let God reign in your life.

WHAT KEEPS YOU GOING?

“And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness………” II Corinthians 12:9a

When the grace of God is upon a man, he can do and undo things. God’s grace is what you need as a believer to live and success in this world fill with so many chaoses. It is the grace of God that turns the life of man around in tremendous way. It is God’s grace that creates new life, new beginning, new joy, and new smile into the life a man.

Every Christian on earth needs God’s amazing divine grace to live on this planet earth. Without the grace of God, many of us would have been in mess because our lives would not have tasted the salvation of God.

God’s grace takes you higher than your imagination to places that you can never imagine and which are beyond your dream. The world situation cause for alarm. So many things have changed within the past years.

You may be wondering when things are going to be okay. I would like to inform you that this is not for you to think of. In fact, you may just be wasting your time when you are supposed to use that time that you use in thinking to achieve better things for your life. I am saying this because the world are not getting better but becoming more and more demanding.

That is why as a believer and God’s own child, you must pray for God’s grace. His grace is amazing, which without, you are lost.

God’s grace, like I stated earlier will open doors of opportunities, of successes, of breakthrough that will get you wondering throughout your lifetime. Have you not seen your fellow Christian brother and sister excelling? Do you care to know how they are making it in spite of the way you use to view them?

Believe me; the grace of God is upon them. You may have been expecting something to happen positively to your job, why not ask God for His grace over your job? Do you have so many financial issues? Then what are you waiting for? Go ahead and ask for God’s grace to help you.

Apostle Paul said ‘God’s grace is sufficient for him. There is no doubt in his confession. He knew how far he tried to tarnish the image of God in the past and then he did not forget how God rescued him, making him one of the greatest men of God in Biblical time.

May the Grace of God be sufficient for you in all your endeavours in Jesus mighty name, amen.

THE SIMPLE WAY TO MAINTAINING YOUR LIBERTY IN CHRIST

“Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye” Colossians 3:13.

Forgiveness is one of the hardest virtues for people. To forgive someone for hurting you so hard is something you will need so much time to think about. You have been abuses in several ways by this person. It may be that you are lied against or set-up for a crime you knew nothing about and you end of discovering the person that set you up. It may be that you have series of difficulties with your spouse, such as discovering he or she is cheating on you thus you’ve decided never to forgive me.

Pain gotten from the afflictions we received from others is not easy to wipe away. This is normal because we are humans with emotions to react whenever we feel discomfort and injustice being melted at us.

In spite of this, God cares so much about your welfare that He is not interested in you making mistake that will hinder you from obtaining your blessings. And the greatest hindrance of mankind is keeping malice and not forgiving others for hurting us.

Read the above verse again and you will understand that God wants you to forgive. It may be hard for you, which is why you must pray and ask the Hold Ghost of God to help you to forgive that person.

You don’t want your blessings being hindered, do you? So also you don’t pray for occasions where nothing seems to be working for you, right? Believe me, many Christians lost out their requests while praying because they hold so much unto not forgiving that they did not see the blessings that God has in store for them.

Jesus Christ paid the ultimate prize no one can ever pay for you. He was mocked, spat upon, tossed here and there recklessly, slapped without numbers, pinched without mercy, cursed without respect, insulted without reserved, beaten like a pig and YET, HE FORGAVE!

If Jesus Christ, our Lord and personal saviour can forgive without holding back any grudges, what stops you from forgiving your fellow human being? Do you know how many people in this world who curse God daily out of their ignorant because they think God should have prevented these world calamities? And in spite of their ugly curses hurled at Him; God forgives and will continue to forgive them because He is love and He loves them all forever.

Obey God’s word and your life will be dynamic. Forgive and your heart will be free from that pain, that burden, that depression, those agonies and those long, long memories of remembering what the other person did to hurt you.

May the Holy Ghost of God help you to forgive in Jesus name, amen.

UNIQUENESS OF YOUR FAITH IN GOD

“God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.” Hebrews 11:40

Wow! I am so excited about this discovery! Imagine a gift that is only meant for you and just for you alone without anybody else in this entire world? That’s exactly what this scripture verse above means.

And if you fully read on, you will discover that without you, that gift will not be made perfect. Is that wonderful news to you? I mean you should be glad that there is one sole gift from God that is designated for you.

I am sure you have it already, you may have discovered it and developing it at the moment or you are yet to tap into it. Just note that you have one delightful gift from God.

It is true that there are so many people exercising the same career like a circle that rotates round and round non-stop but what makes a man unique is that ability to be different, that shinning light that others see in him, I mean that God-given potential that is solely for him and no one else.

That is the meaning of the above scripture verse. I want you to rejoice because no matter how much or congested the market is with professional in your field, you must remember that you are unique because you have God-given gift in you that make you perfect and unique.

Henceforth, delight yourself in this verse, and be conscious of that better thing in you that God provides uniquely for you and of that precious life He wants you to live.

WHAT WENT WRONG WITH A TRUE BELIEVER?

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?” 11 Corinthians 6:14

There are so many things that are beginning to go wrong these days especially with people who are believers and who by far do not realise that they are straying from God’s principles until it’s too late for them to adjust.

Barely last week, President Obama won the Nobel Prize, which came as a big shock to the entire world. He has hardly finished his first year in office and there is the prize awarded him. Despite lots of comments for and against this prize, nothing will ever change the course of action. He’s been awarded and that’s it.

Then last night while attending the human right campaign, which included the largest attendance of gay right group, Obama made such statement as ‘still laws to change, hearts to open.’ It simply means he is on the verge of changing the law that is against same-sex marriage and that means soon this will be legalize in the US. Also he promised to change the law that is against having gay in the military.

Does winning Nobel Prize means losing sanity and not conforming to God’s principles? Everybody believes Obama is a Christian who understands fully the Bible and what the commandments of God are.

God is not in agreement with same-sex marriage. When God created the world, He created Adam and Eve. God did not create Adam and John or Eve and Kate. If God wants same –sex marriage, He wouldn’t have created man and woman then blessed them to multiple.

In your own opinion, you may be thinking of going along with this man (Obama) but I want you to realise that putting God first ahead of issues like this is the ultimate.

I still wonder why Obama should have the gut last night to make that promises. Has he lost his faith in God? Does that means to him that he can do whatever he likes by disobeying God’s principles.

Do not be like Obama by going against God’s laws. Make it your duty to preach the gospel with all your heart, in your speech, in your action, and in everything you do.

My prayer is that God will help Obama to make the God-given decision on this issue before it is too late.

THE POWER THAT LIES WITHIN

“But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word” Acts 6:4

Here were the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ addressing the multitude of disciples (Christians), informing them of the need to choose seven men of God for the mission to solve the issue among the Grecians against the Hebrews as it was reported the widows of the Grecians were neglected and without care.

Then the twelve disciples added that if seven men were assigned the duty of seeing to the Grecians’ problem, they (twelve disciples of Jesus Christ) will devote themselves to unceasing prayer and preaching the word of God (Acts 6:4).

Immediately after this speech, the Bible in verse 5 of same Acts 6; “And the saying pleased the whole multitude……..”

Every one of them understood that without prayer and word of God as backup in this issue, it will or might escalate.

It does not matter if you have prayer about 30 times a day. What matters is your consistency and honestly while praying. Every sincere man of God I met has one thing in common and that is the perseverance in prayer.

You cannot separate prayer from the Word of God. These two come handy that you just have no choice than to master them. God is never far from answering your request neither has He gone on a long trip that will prevent Him from giving you what you want.

God wants you to pray because by praying you are not just asking Him for your request but you are mostly building loving relationship with Him. Through God’s Word, you get to know Him fully and understand His principles. It is the same as when you pray to Him.

You may not realise this but the more you pray to God, the more you develop bond-relationship with Him. It shows that you have surrender your life and all entirety of you to Him while believing that He alone is capable of making your life the best.

Do not quit praying to God even the objective of you praying is to request something. You may have gotten your prayer answer, or you are still expecting the result of you have reached the point of waiting for so long that you are on the verge of quitting.

I implore you not to quit praying to God and do not dump your Bible in the deepest corner of your house so that you won’t see it. God is waiting for you. He is 100% aware that you ask Him for something. He will do it but He will do it for you at the right time.

Such time may be too long for you and that makes your heart bitter with that decision to avoid praying further. God knows best. I once told you in my previous mail not to force God to do what He wants to do for you.

What you need is to keep on praying without ceasing. Read the Word of God every day. And above all, stay unto God and master perseverance with all your heart.

Prayer has no limit because it is never enough.

GOD WILL OVERSHADOW YOUR SITUATION!

“If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say; if it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us: then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us, then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: then the proud waters had gone over our soul.” Psalm 124:1-5

Praise the Lord, Oh my soul! The Lord is faithful and He deserves all praise. What would have happened to us if the Lord is far from us?

Have you ever sit down and meditate over God’s never-ending blessings over your life? If you do this, you will surely have every reason to know that God is worthy of our praises.
The above verse is from ‘the song of degrees of David.” This man understood God so much that he was known as the man after God’s heart. Praising God does not cost you anything.

You wouldn’t have been alive today if not for God. Your situation would have been messy if God has not intervened. I wonder if you can end up having those successes in your business if God hasn’t answered your prayer.

This is why you should know that you have no need to worry about any situation you may have right now because God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He will overshadow your situation and you won’t see it anymore.

Are you sick, are you in need of favour, are you looking for breakthrough in your job, do you pray for deliverance, are you looking for successes? Be rest assured that God will overshadow your situation.

He will give you the reason to praise Him as He will give you all that you request from Him as long as you ask the right way and of course the right thing.

If it had not been the Lord, I won’t be here sending you this post.

AFTERMATH OF ONE MINUTE CRAZE

“Be not hasty in thy sight to be angry; for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.” Ecclesiastes 7:9

There is no doubt that anyone is prone to anger in a day. You are likely to be upset regarding any situation. It may be in your place of work, at your home, with a friend or within your group.
I want to let you know that you have every right to express your feeling. There is no need bottling up your emotion when you are supposed to expose it.

Anger is great because sometimes, it helps you to solve a delicate situation, it makes the other person to understand you and let them know where you belong.

You may be angry with your spouse, your children, your parents, your siblings, your friends, your colleagues, your partner, even a stranger.

But the Bible says you must master the art of self-control. That’s what the above verse means.

When you are able to control your emotion, then you are a leader to your life and that means you are capable of controlling your life without needing the help of a church, psychological or medical counsellor.

Do not be a fool as described above by extending your anger beyond the reasonable limits. Train your emotion to suit God’s will for your life.

If you are having difficulty in developing your self-control, which I knew many people suffer too, then ask the Hold Ghost of God to help you. He is able to do exceedingly above all that you can ever ask of or imagine.

He will help you because that’s why He is in your life and He wants you to come to Him, to bring your emotions to Him, for refine.

The single truth is you cannot handle anger alone except with the help of the Holy Ghost.

You know what? Once upon a time, I was a classified hot-temper person. Oops! There was absolutely nothing you can tell me that could change my mind then whenever I was angry. Then I must do what I set out to do in my fury. But the end results were so devastating and not comforting. It was tormenting!

Anger, used on the negative side is able to break lots of great relationship, bond, and friendship or causes you to sin against God if you are not careful. Do not allow it to be too late. Get down on your knees and tell God to change you.

That’s exactly what I did. Today, I not only have the self-control, I learnt as well to overlook issues while try as much as possible to maintain my Christ-image.

Get down on your knees; I implore you, before it’s too late.

LIFTING OFF THE BURDEN OF PAIN

“Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: so shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man” Proverbs 3:3-4

To find favour with God and man, there are so many requirements one must go through as a Christian. I mean, there are rules you need to follow. Christianity is not just about accepting Christ as your Lord and personal saviour.

For you to grow strong and remain strong as a Christian, you must sustain your daily fellowship with God through praying in the Holy Ghost, reading the Bible, praising & worshipping God, attending church services, and of course living in the image of God every day.

And the above verse strongly refers to you not forgetting ‘mercy and truth’ in whatever you do.
Mercy in this context means forgiveness and compassion. You may have been hurt, messed with, or wronged by any one; the Bible says you must forgive. If you don’t forgive, then you are not a true Christian. Jesus forgives. God forgives and of course, the Holy Ghost forgives. So why won’t you?

Christianity means ‘Christ-like,’ which is having the real image of Christ. So if you call yourself a Christian, that is a Christ-like fellow then you have no choice than to live by the Word of God.

So you have to forgive. It may be hard for you but this is where you need the Holy Ghost of God to come in and help you. Just go to Him in prayer and tell him to assist you with your emotions so that you will be lifted off the burden of pain and learn to forgive and forget anyone who might have hurt you.

Truth is equally mentioned in the verse. Being honest, and stand for God is very important. Let others in your office see Christ in you. That you are fond of a colleague does not mean you should join him or her to lie or cover up something.

Wherever you are, whatever you do or whoever you are with; let your YES be your YES and not a lie. Never pack up lies upon lies in order to create that beautiful life for you. It does not pay.

Live for Christ, and you will find favour with God and man.

MY INCOMPARABLE SUPERNATURAL GOD!

“And Jesus answered him, saying, it is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God” St. Luke 4:4

The word ‘bread’ does not just simply means ‘food’ as many people widely refer it to. In fact, there is the misinterpretation of this verse for many years and despite the effort of true men of God to explain, majority of people still could not grab this meaning.

When Jesus mentions ‘bread’, he refers to food, including every need in the life of mankind, which are jobs, financial income, material, and the rest.

A man that settles his entire life solely on things of this world has so much to lose. And a man who dwells and allows his life to be lead by the Word of God has absolutely nothing to lose.

You can’t serve God or depend on Him and then fail in your life. It is not possible. Trials or persecution may come but you will always survive and excel them all.

Let God’s word be your guide in every endeavours of your life. When you make up your mind to let go and allow God to take charge of your life, there will be new changes, new differences that will come to you.

Do you realise that the Word of God is God Himself in the manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ? Isn’t that interesting and assuring to you? In the book of John 1:1, it is written “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God”

In verse 3 of the same chapter, it reads “All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made”

Honestly, these verses are enough for you to know that no matter what you have, what you are looking for and whatever you will have, all belongs to God. So why not make it your ultimate priority now as you read this post, to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal, and for you to live your entire life by the Word of God?
