THANK GOD THE BIBLE IS FOREVER ALIVE!

“Rid yourselves, therefore, of all malice, and all guile, insincerity, envy, and all slander.” 1 Peter 2:1

What a glorious advantage we have as Christians, having just the positive rules and regulations to live on! The Bible is so rich in wisdom and understanding of God that we need not look elsewhere whenever we need solutions to our worries and problems.

We only need to study the Bible and receive helps in abundant. Isn’t that wonderful that we have such privileges?

In the above verse, it tries to picture to us the images of what happened or used to happen or may happen in our day-to-day life. Because we are Christians do not mean that we will not be offended by people in our world, in our work, in our homes in our neighbourhood or wherever. In fact, people will deliberately look for our troubles. They will insult us as they like and without any remorse.

The same goes for how we operate with people in our lives. Are we honest? Do we speak the truth when we should or do we just tend to be diplomatic as we try to save our necks?

What about us seeing next door neighbour’s new car and we refuse to greet him or her, when we meet because we become filled up with envies toward that person for having new car?

And in our place of work, are we obeying the Word of God by avoiding what’s wrong or do we engage in slandering our colleague?

For us to live the true life of God’s choose people, we must rid ourselves of whatever will bring sin to us. There is no need for malice, nor for guile, nor for insincerity, nor for envy and not even for slander.

Be true to yourself and be deeply rooted in the Word of God. Flee from keeping malice with whosoever. It does no good. Be straightforward and run away from insincerity. Let your ‘yes’ be your ‘yes’.

Embrace true love and happiness so that you can rejoice with those you have new things. This will help you to deal with envy.

Finally, do not join any group that enjoy slandering others at your office, neighbourhood, club or wherever. God’s child does not have time for wasteful adventures. When you are in Christ, your life will be different and those around you will see it clearly that you are not part of them.

Obey the Word of God, open your heart to know God with all your best and you will be leading, and living the beautiful destiny that God created for you.

Peace!

God or Religion; who comes first?

“Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” 1 Peter 1:3

Many folks believe that we mean we are referring to religion when we wrote on the strong need to put God first.

The art of religion involve rules and regulations, which some of them are so complicated, and can dissuade people from understanding what true worship means.

Parts of our obligations as Christians in our fellowship are praying, reading the bible, and singing hymns to God. We become closer in intimate relationship with God when we observe daily the above.

It helps us to know God better in our knowledge, understand and spiritual aspect of our lives. How can we know God when we don’t pray? How else can we obey Him if we don’t read His word to know what he wants from us and what He has in store for us as His children?

How can one gets into profound relationship with God with daily exercising of the above in our lives?

In view of the never-ending issues surrounding us such as economic recession, job losses, divorces, untimely death, health problems, infertility and many more, these are strongest prove that we must get closer to God.

We need Him to help us to face life-challenges. We cannot be stable at all if God is not our first priority. No matter who you are, no matter your level of riches or education, do not conclude that you don’t need God in your life because this is not true.

Be reasonable with yourself and come to the term that there is absolutely nothing you are and all you will be that you can achieve all alone. That’s a big lair!

God must be your first in whatever you do. In your office, in your family, in your choice of friendship with people, in your education, in your dealing with your kids, in whatsoever you are doing under the planet earth, put God first and your life will be a blessing.

Why not start right away and put God first in your life!

Peace!

ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?

“Wisdom is as good as inheritance, an advantage to those who see the sun.” Ecclesiastes 7:11

You are blessed in abundant for being alive.

Everybody knew there is no more hope for the dead. The Bible verse above refers to those alive ‘an advantage to those who see the sun’. This means to those who are alive, who have the capacity to see, to feel the power of the sun.

Aren’t you lucky to be counted among the living? Tell me, what hope is there for someone who’s dead?

This is why in all that you have, let wisdom be your greatest priority. In your speech, allow wisdom to dominate and you will be successful.

As you go out today, embrace wisdom in whatever you do.

Peace!

WHY YOU MUST NOT FORGET YOUR LIFE-GIVER

“Praise the lord……Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them. Full of honour and majesty is His wok, and His righteousness endures forever.” Psalm 111: 1-3

Describing God’s awesomeness is not a child’s play! Believe me that it is just not possible for anyone to fully know the great wonders of God because they are too many!

Isn’t it wonderful that we have our lives in Him? Are you not grateful to have Him as your life-giver?

Every day of my life, each second that I breathe, I just can’t afford to be grateful for being alive.

You know what? When you have sound health and functioning brain, then you can do whatever you like. You can think big and create wealth. You can move the sky and change the world.

But what happened if the sound health is not there? How will you function? Do you think you can do anything worthwhile when seriously sick?

This is why you should have a deep thinking. You must understand that God is always with you. There are so many invisible dangers aim directly at you but God stopped them from reaching you.

Every day you walk, you eat, you talk, you sleep and wake up, you bath, you dance, you telephone, you drink, you laugh, you shout, you do whatever, is a BLESSING for you.

God is full of honour, of majesty that you and I cannot fully describe. God is the life-giver. He sent His son, Jesus Christ, not just for sending sake BUT to restore life back to you.

Make use of your day, your hours, your minutes, and your seconds, to worship and praise Him for your LIFE.

He is and will forever be your LIFE-GIVER.

Peace!

WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO WITHOUT HIM?

“Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah” Psalm 62:8 (NRSV)

I bet you must have seen the USA motto; in God we trust. This is continuous invaluable acceptance of God’s presence in their lives.

Today, we have lots and lots of Christians, holding on to God in unison of Faith. In fact, in these worldwide events going on around us, with the floods, the air-crashes, the economic crises and so forth, could you please point out where else can we go for survival?

What else can you do without God? How can you live your life without His presence being the utmost in your life? How can you survive outside of God’s protective shield?

Remember, God is forever here for you. You only have to look closer in your life to understand that indeed, God has never gone far from you.

Spread out His presence to your world. Thank Him for His faithfulness. At least despite your unfaithfulness, despite you forgotten to pray or to worship Him, He has truly being Faithful to you in every area of your life.

So what else can you do without God? Just keep all your trust on Him, that’s all.

Peace!

HIS ULTIMATE PROMISE

“Do not remember the former things, or consider the things of old. I am about to do a NEW THING, now it spring forth, do you not perceive it?” Isaiah 13:18-19 (NRSV)

How many times have you dwelt so much on your past? Sometimes, you may not willingly want to remain where you are, with your thoughts stagnant and never seem to see life from another aspect.

It may be you have fixed your life in one sole direction, which is your past. But I have good news for you!

God does not want you to remain where you are. He wants you to move forward, to progress, to be successful, and to live the proper life He created for you.

God cares about you and your welfare. Do not be so shut up in your anguish that you will not be able to notice God and His gift of blessing coming in your direction.

It does not matter where you are now, or what you are going through, or how you feel. What is important is for you to open your heart, your soul and be ready to receive without any restrain.

For God is about to do a NEW THING in your life!

Peace.

SHADOW OF THE SUN

NEVER DONE BEFORE

To live in faithfulness to God entails so much from us. The need to understand we must worship Him in everything we do; in our lives, our jobs, our families, in our sleeps, our waking and whatsoever we find ourselves doing.

Worshipping God teaches us to understand the complete person in Him. It builds in us the knowledge, the divine wisdom, and the fear of His existence and of course shows in us the true image of God.

Let us get into the habit of worship to God. Let us build our lives round magnifying His sovereignty and His incomparable person;

And as we do that, God will improve our lives and mold us into that wonderful person that the entire world will come to know Him through us.

May God teach us, amen.

SOLE REQUIREMENT OF OUR FAITH

Little Children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.
1 John 3:18
I came across this verse countless of times. And each time, it reminds me not to forget my priority towards mankind.

To love someone requires much deeper meaning from us as Christians. We don’t just speak this out and believe that is okay. Do you know that gone were those days when we can declare our love by mere speeches without adding any solid fact to it?

God created us to be distinct examples of Him in everything we do, in each seconds of our lives not just to His glory but to our own benefit. His joy is complete when we do as He instructed, when we show love to our fellow human being without any hesitation.

Look around you; you will discover what you have not being noticing before. There are the helpless kids roaming the street in search of food. There are the beggars without cloths and shelter. There are the sick ones, dying of hunger and thirst.

You have those loads of clothes you no longer need anymore, I advise you to sort them out and go give these people on the street.

Start loving with your actions. Show to those around you that you are indeed a Christian and not just by your speech.

Where people need comfort, provide it for them. When your loved ones are in need of help, do what you can. Be a blessing and not a curse to those in your world.

May the love of God help you to understand true Christianity.

Amen.
