You Don’t Have To Panic!

“But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” – 1 John 1:9

What a blessing for us who have the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives! Wow! How amazing is so great His love for us!

Do you know that no matter how far you have strayed from God, He is always there waiting for you to come back to Him. I mean, there is nothing that is absolutely too late for you when it comes to making a return to God.

God is Faithful and you must not ignore this. He sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ who knows no sins like you and I to pay the price on our behalf. Without this salvation, I don’t think any of us deserve this privilege.

So mighty is the divine Grace of God over our lives! It is the Grace of God that sustains you, that keeps us in fellowship with God. In spite of what we did wrong, how we messed up, and how far we toyed in the past, the Grace of God does not waiver in bringing us back to God.

That means love! Who can forgive you any of your sins so easily among your fellow human? It is only God who forgives without any remorse or payback.

So do not panic! Just go back to Him with humility and He is forever waiting for you.

An Eye for both Eyes

“Do not repay evil for evil or abuse for abuse; but, on the contrary, repay with a blessing. It is for this that you are called – that you might inherit a blessing.” 1 Peter 3:9

I have heard many folks who said they would repay what people do to them with double. On the other hand, I have seen some folks who just pretend they are not hurt and leave the rest to God to judge.

None of the above is good, if you try to pay double or just ignore. As a true child of God, you have no right to repay any evil for evil.

How many people can you count that have wronged you? Hundreds? Thousands? Or more? You knw what? I have met people who cheat me, who cursed me, who pretended to be my friends but they are not, who tricked me, who lied to me, who wronged me in several ways but I would like to let you know that I did not for once repay them with evils.

I fought the battle so hard within me, asking God to help me to get through with what these people did to me. And God helped me because at the end, I found peace and I just forgave them. Today, most of these people are my friends and they don’t feel any more shame for what they did to me because I repay them with blessings.

That’s what you should be doing; learning to repay evil with blessings. When you are able to do this, you will find peace, I mean God’s divine peace within you. It is hard in the beginning but you must strive to live the life of a true Christian.

Is there anyone who wronged you recently? Is the person your spouse, you children, your friends, your colleague or your neighbours? Please forgive and show them that you have indeed forgive, and above all, do well to them.

Never think of retaliating because that’s for the children of the devil. May God help you to always repay evil with blessings in Jesus mighty name, amen.

So Nice To Be Loved!

Show Him your Overwhelming Gratitude

“She fell at his feet and bowed before him, overwhelmed with gratitude. Then she took her son in her arms and carried him downstairs”. 2 Kings 4:37

Showing your gratitude for what God has done, is doing and will do in you life is not a forceful act, rather, it is a faithful acknowledgement on your side.

It’s so amazing how you tend to forget those little things that required you showing your appreciation! It’s so human that many people do not remember to go back to and say ‘thank you’ genuinely for what was given to them.

Life is such that you must be careful and be conscious of whatever you are doing. When you learn to thank someone for what they do for you, you are showing that you are truly aware of that that happened to you and you are grateful.

It is the same with God. You know what, each time I woke up, I force myself to remember that this is not my doing but God’s. Do you know that there are thousands of souls that sleep and never wake up anymore?

Apart from this, there are many things God makes straight in my life that I just can’t pretend not to notice them. Some of these, I could not tell because they are invisible to me but through God’s divine revelation, I was able to understand why God changed them.

I believe I am not the only one God works for. I mean, He intervenes in differs of way in your life too. And for these, you must understand the profound need to show your appreciation.

Look at that Shunammite woman. Through Elisha, her barrenness gave way to her having a son, then the son suddenly complained of headache before he died but God raises the child, restoring him back to his mother. This woman knew what to do. In the above verse, the bible says, she was overwhelmed with gratitude for having her son back.

If you read the story of this rich Shunammite woman and Elisha, you will realise that she indeed deserves what she had.

Have you ever been overwhelmed with gratitude to God for everything in your life? Do you truly acknowledged His magnificent miracles in your life or are you just accepting them as if they are duty that God must do in your life?

I want you to come to this stage where you no longer believe in yourself, in your own making but in complete submission to God and His supremacy in your life. When you are able to get to this point, you will understand that you must show profound gratitude to God daily for whom you are, what you are and what you are going to be ahead of you.

Do not be ungrateful, do not be less concern about what appreciation means. The more you thank God, the more He shows up in your life.

So why not pause and show your overwhelming gratitude to God?

You Just Need To Be Strong

“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD” Psalm 27:14

Times of distress are visible in the on-going issues of life. Days of depressions are unavoidable during certain situation and troubles. In fact, the way the society is turning in such alarming way is just enough to knock down a weak man.

In spite of these, there is HOPE! The great news is those who rely 100% on God for their deliverance have absolutely nothing to fear because of the assurance they have in Him.

You may be in private issue that only you are aware of, do not panic. Do not be afraid because God will get you out. He will solve your problems. All you need is to trust Him.

Trust God for everything; trust Him to help you, to change your situation, to refine your life, to bring back smile to your face and remove every troubling shadow you may have.

And the only way you can do this is to WAIT on him. By waiting, it means you exercise your Faith as a Christian, and you wholly depend on Him to see you through.

You must be strong. Ensure you stay with strong faith, energy and the perseverance that God alone can do it.

I told you, issues will arise but do not panic for greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Offer your Profound Gratitude NOW!

“All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.”” Psalm 86:9

Today is American Thanksgiving day and believe me, it is not just for them but the entire world. All over the world, people are celebrating in whatever ways they could.

What about you; are you celebrating? Are you giving thanks to God for having this privilege to see year 2010? Are you happy?

Today, I must confess that, to God be all the Glory forever and ever! Use few minutes of your busy time to pause and reflect on how far you have gone in life, where you are right now and where you are aiming for, you will discover that you just have no reason not to worship God today.

Don’t allow this day to pass you by, get on your knelt, or in your heart and give thanks to God. All nations shall surely worship the creator of the entire human race.

Tell me, who else deserves your worship and praise if not God? Please worship Him!

You Raise Me Up!

“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name.” Hebrews 13:15

How great is our God! How great is His holy name! How magnificent is His greatness! Let us join today to praise God for everything!

Think of God’s doings in your life today, meditate on His abundant mercy over you that you are still alive today is God’s grace over you.

So mighty is His power that delivers you from visible and invisible situations. What a privilege you have to be called the child of God! What a blessings that your life in not in mess! What a divine Grace of God upon your life that turns around impossible situation to become possible!

Then sing my soul O,

My saviour God to thee,

How great thou art,

How great thou art!

Then sing my soul,

My saviour God to thee,

How great thou art………

How great thou art!

Listen; do not stop praising God each second of your life. Praise Him in the morning, Worship in the afternoon, Give Him honour in the evening, and sing hymns to Him in the night. Nothing as excuse should stop you from doing this.

Praise God without any motive attached to it, not because you expect any of your requests to be answered. Do it willing and happily. When you talk, let praise for God be heard from your mouth. Find greatest joy in praising God.

I implore you to never cease praising God, do not forget to make this your priority above all. Let your request be secondary but praise Him the more.

Let the entire world praise His holy name!

There Is Abundant Of Hope For You!

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

Many believers have been intimidated by their bosses or colleague in the office to such extent that these children of God indeed forgot their true calling.

Problems are bound to come from several directions. In fact, you will be persecuted in places that you never believe such could happen. It may be your office, in your group meeting, in your home, even in your church.

They will likely call you names. Some may try to bring you down in whatever way they could. Other may suddenly rise up to blaspheme about you and your God.

But do you know what? The Bible does not lie when He says greater is he (God) that is in you, than he (devil) that is in the world.

Persecution, trial, afflictions, stresses, problems, distresses, depression or whatever may come to you but do not fear because you are coming out of them. You shall surely overcome them.

God does not lie concerning His word. He says, heaven and earth may pass away but His word will continue to live one.

Rest your faith, and your hope in God and He will fulfil your heart desire. Do not give up. Do not allow mere intimidation from those in the world or from your mere human being to weight you down. Look to God for help. There is no need for you to get depressed. Call unto God to deliver you. Don’t look focus of your Christian-calling.

Look unto God for He is the finisher of your Faith. He is here for you, waiting for you to come rest upon Him. He cares for you, He loves you and He is forever ready to lift you up.

Beware of the Mayan Prediction!

“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.” St Mark 13:32

I am sending this post to you to let you be aware of what’s going on at the moment just in case you have not heard about this.

There is the Mayan prediction that the world will end on 21st December 2012. In fact, majority of people already believe this.

Do not fail into their trap and do anything stupid. Take a closer look at the above verse again: there is clear evidence that even Jesus Christ does not know the date or the hour. It is only God who knows this and He alone will tell when the time comes.

Do not be deceived. Who are the Mayans? And what makes you think they are better than Jesus Christ? The Mayans are mere human being like you and I, so you will be doing yourself harms if you listen to them. They are false and they will fail in their lies when the time comes. Just watch and see!

Never allow the influence of mankind to take away your profound Faith in God. Be very, very careful now especially when this is spreading around.

Rely on God, get closer to Him and let Him be the only author of your life.

Do not believe the Mayan’s prediction; it is all lie from the pit of hell!

Blessing or Curse: Which Do You Prefer?

“And Balak’s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together ; and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.” Numbers 24:10

Do you still remember this story of Balak and Balaam, the prophet? It is an interesting story! I couldn’t help laughing each time I read it.

Imagine someone trying to curse God’s anointed? I mean what a waste for anyone planning on destroying God’s people. Balak sought the best way to curse the Israelites for dwelling in his portion of the land. He wanted to reduce these people by all means and the best way he thought of was to call upon Balaam, God’s prophet. In fact, Balaam is a no-nonsense man. From the onset, he sent message to Balak that he will only do what God ask him to do concerning the Israelites.

Yet, Balaam went on to heed to Balak’s call. On the way, His donkey talked by the presence of God on the way who blocked the road. Balaam still got to Balak who told him the reason why he sent for him. But each time, Balaam opened his mouth, what comes out were abundant blessings for the people of Israelites. To be sure of what’s going on and sure of his duty, Balaam changes position to face where the Israelites camped. He tried again, still lots and lots of blessings did he prophesied on the Israelites.

At the end, Balak couldn’t bear it anymore. He realised he’d made the terrible mistake calling Balaam to curse the Israelites. Please read the above verse again. Balak just thought he could bribe Balaam with promotion to higher ranks and more money but can a true man of God be brought over with money?

Balaam obeyed God instead of Balak who hired him to curse the Israelite. Out of annoyance, Balak sent Balaam away without any gift but do you think Balaam cared about the gifts in the first place?

No, Balaam was a man who would prefer to obey God than his fellow mere human being.

There are two questions here for you;

1) Are you like Balaam or you are the exact image of Balak?

2) Do you realised that no one can curse who God has blessed?

If you are fond of cursing sincere men of God, I pray you to please stop it. Otherwise, you are digging huge troubles for yourself. Nothing is hidden from God’s eyes. He sees all. And if you love life, you better avoid getting yourself into trouble like Balak because at the end, he (Balak) surely got into trouble for trying to curse the Israelites and he paid dearly for it. If you want to know how he ended, go back and beginning from the above verse, you will understand it all.

Also, do not fear if you are God’s child because no matter the weapon fashioned against you, none of them shall prosper. God watches over you; He does not sleep. Even when you are not aware, God fights the invisible battles for you. He is indeed worthy of all praises and honours!

There may be people like Balak out there waiting to harm you but don’t worry, they will fail! Just keep your life entrusts in God’s hands and you are cover!

Are You In The Right Camp?

“For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God;” Exodus 34:14

Have you ever seen some Christians who profess the gospel with earnest passion, afterward visiting the homes of herbalists or spiritual leaders in order to have their problems solved?

Many believers don’t really understand or believe strongly in their salvation. They will tell the world they are Christians but secretly they are involved in occult things. Some of them believed so much in these occultism that they’d rather chose that above Christianity when challenges come their ways.

In fact, some believe that one can mix salvation of Christ together with traditional occultism. This is not to be so!

God is not ready to be share with mere gods.

How can you say you are a Christian when your heart is not fully indebted into the life of Christ? How can you profess Christianity to the world while secretly you are not pure? Can you serve God and the devil at the same time?

Of course God wants you solely for Himself. It is normal because He is your father. He wants to take charge of your life, He loves to care for you, He finds happiness in your well being.

But what happened when you are with God and you are still practicing occultism secretly? Let me tell you; you are digging into big problems for yourself because you may think God is not seeing you. He sees everything and though He keeps silent, it is because He is giving you chance to change your ways, to reconcile wholly with Him.

In the case where you refuse to change, then you are in trouble because at the end of the day, the occultism you fully depend on is by the devil and there is absolutely nothing the devil gives you that he will not take back.

God never works the same way. He is jealous and this is best for you because that shows He loves you. He is protecting you, caring for you, providing for you, loving you, tendering your life, and giving you the best out of life.

Do not make yourself ridicule for nothing. Stop your secret cultism, your herbalist visitation or your spiritualism; instead, stay with God and you will never regret this.

Please pay attention to your judgement!

“He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him” Proverbs 18: 13

Imagine someone who enjoys getting into other people’s issues! Often, when such person is asked to give his judgement, he would tend to please those that listen to him first even before he fully understands what the issues are really about.

If you are in the habit of judging others, I bet you must put a stop to this. God is not happy that you should judge other people. In fact, you have no right to do this.

Also, you don’t have to give your own judgement to what happened between your friends when you have not heard both sides of the story. You should make sure you are fully aware of what goes on in the midst of your friends, why they quarrel, what the problem was and how to solve it.

You don’t have to take side with one person in such issue because if you do you will end up being the one who gets the shame.

Never answer a matter until you have heard it, until you are sure that what you heard is correct and accurate, not a false. You must learn to respect how you talk, how you address others, how you interfere into another people’s business.

When you are able to master your life in the direction of God and in His laws, you will surely be at peace, and of course, your Christian life will not suffer.

Please, I implore you today, do not make foolish mistake like the gentile. Ensure you always hear out any matters first and be accurate about it before you give your judgement.

Join Me In Praising God Forever!

“And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thou shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you” Exodus 3: 14

Its takes so much for anyone trying to comprehend the meaning of God’s name! Believe me, you need God’s wisdom to be able to understand Him.

The greater and sole truth is that you can’t or won’t be able to know God without the help of the Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ says in the book of St John 16:13 “Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come”

In your Christian journey, you have no doubt knowing that the Holy Ghost who is also known as Holy Spirit is your guide. He is there to teach you everything you need to know about God. You mustn’t toy with this. In fact, you must embrace the divine presence of the Holy Ghost into your life.

Only through the divine knowledge of the Holy Ghost that you can understand God, His supremacy, and His incomparable love. Let’s go back to the above verse; Moses encountered God at the time he was in exile. And when God instructed Moses about the people of Israel under slavery in Egypt, Moses demanded more about who God is, and God replies Moses in His unique way.

He proclaims His forever name, I AM THAT I AM. Do you understand this? Wow! Praise God for everything! Thank God for bringing us the free gift of salvation! I AM THAT I AM means HE IS FOREVER!

The Hebrews meaning is Ehiyeh sh’Ehiyeh, the title of this blog. Aren’t you excited as I am, having this knowledge?

Why you must not give up?

“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” James 1: 2-4

Everybody has one or more troubles that tend to be alarming and demanding. I can tell you that there is no one who is freed from this. Problems come and go.

As Christian, sometime, trouble comes your way for specific reason(s). Often you don’t fully realise this until when you have solved this problem and that is if you were able to. You must not forget that issues arise, mostly to make you strong and not bring you down.

God is not interested in your downfall or your tears. He rejoices in your well being and this is why when you have issues that are strongly disturbing you, God sees everything and thus He brings in quicker solutions to you.

The more trouble you were able to faced and conquered, the stronger your faith in God becomes. Do not lose hope, thinking that trouble comes to get you down.

Do not even buy into the idea that because you are God’s child that you won’t have problems, that is the lie of the devil from the pit of hell. The devil has nothing good to offer other than to destroy and he will do whatever it takes to get you down. And this is why you must not allow him.

In your distress, I want you to praise and worship God knowing that He will surely get you out of your troubles. When you are in despair, why not go to God in prayer. Share your heart with Him; let Him know about your pains. Of course, God is fully aware of what you are going through but He will not force Himself on you. Instead, He wants you to come to Him, to let Him know what you want, and how you want Him to solve your problems.

I repeat; always consider your troubles, your worries, or your stresses as greater opportunity to testing your profound faith in God. If you are able to hold on to God throughout your ordeal and not waver, then indeed, you have long-lasting Faith in God.

Remember, nothing happened to you by accident but all come to you just to test your faith and to teach you more about life, as well as how to go on living the true life of a Christian.

Look at where you went wrong!

“With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. 10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be” James 3:9-10 (TNIV)

This is call to action for every Christian. How you handle your tongue matters; what you say is very vital. You don’t just talk anyhow as Christian because you should have realised that gone were those days when you can talk anyhow.

Not that you are the image of Christ and you have accepted Christ as your Lord and personal saviour, you are a new person, different from the gentiles. In fact, you are supposed to live your life in conformity with God’s commandments.

When you open your mouth to say something, tell me, what comes out of your mouth? Do you just open your mouth and talk anyhow or your do you watch how you talk, what you say and to whom you say it to?

Being a Christian is not a mere title that you should be glad that you carry around anyhow. In fact, being a Christian goes farther than this. People should see Christ in you, in your speech, in your word, in your character, how you say things, and the way you feel after saying things.

Be very careful when using your tongue so that you will not get into unnecessary sin that you should have avoided in the first instance. Be very care when you talk to people in your moment of anger.

Do not curse because a child of God is not allowed to curse. God loves everybody even the unbelievers and He wants you to love everybody as well; it is not your duty to rain curses on anybody even if the person frustrated you.

Do not wake up in the morning to praise God and then in the afternoon, you are using your that same tongue to curse people.

In fact, apart from cursing, many Christians use their tongues to say fouls things that are not expected from them. God sees everything, everyone and what we do. Your fellow Christian Brother or Sister may not see how you are fond to misusing your tongue but God sees and to that effect you are worst off.

Get out of doing such if you have been doing it. Pray God always and let good words be coming out of your mouth all the time and not curses, not reckless words.

Above all, praise God the more with your tongue and let the entire world see Christ image in you.
