Without God, Who else?

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrew 10:22 (NIV)

It takes enough actions and gestures of love, from someone in our lives, for us to trust that person, and to have 100% assurance on the person. Even in our place of work, we tend to develop confidence in our bosses or colleagues after they’d proved to us that are capable of the task given to them.

Life between two people, and among a group of people, is practically based on assurance. You will see a little child riding in his father’s car. He knows he needs not fear because the person driving the car is his father, and thus he is assured that no harm will come to him. If the driver is a total stranger, I bet, the child will strongly pay attention to the road or the way the person is driving.

This is similar to when we have assurance in God, when we are at peace that He is in charge. We have nothing to worry about, we believe, we trust and thus we move on in life with our hearts at rest.

There is no more need to get us down or weakened by our guilty conscience, because the Bible says in Roman 8:1, “There is therefore no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.”

God forgives your sins and forget them all when you confessed to Him, asking for forgiveness. For Him, it’s over. He remembers no more your wrongs, and already wiped them out.

But to you, you still live on with that guilty conscience, which is not necessary; the more you dwell on this, the more you are telling God that He has not truly forgave you.

Learn now to push off and completely any form of guilty conscience. Sin no more, and allow your faith to relax in the Lord. When you do this, you will experience dramatic changes personally in your life.

Let your assurance be on God and Him only. Ask yourself this; ‘Without God, who else?”

Peace!

Boast In The Lord — God Is Not Just For The Poor

Do not say to yourself, ‘My power and might of my own hand have gotten me this wealth.’ But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, so that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your ancestors, as he is doing today.” Deuteronomy 8:17

There is no life without its hunger; the desire to get wealth, to be hale and health, to acquire certain levels and status in life, and many more.

It is because we are human, and it is in our nature to want more of these things, and many more.  When we are looking for them, we tend to be humble at all cost, because we know how much we desire this.

When we are poor, and looking any anything, we are so meek, gentle, and can do anything good to bring our needs to us. In fact, before God, in our prayer and supplications, we remain humble, promising God, this and that, so that He can answer us.

Of course, God is not a man that He should lie, and sure He will answer us, giving us so much, even more than we imagine, all for the sake of His name.

But what happened when we have gotten what we need? Many folks have turned their backs against God. When they were poor, they knew God, the serve Him, the pray to Him, praise Him and more, but now that they are rich, and comfortable, God is no longer require in their lives.

Does this means God is just for the poor? Or do you think He is the God of the poor?

Everything you are, whatever you have acquired in life and whatever you are going to be in life, God is in charge! It may surprise you hearing this from me, but this is the truth.

God is the God of both the rich and the poor, He does not classify.

Listen, It’s so amazing to see or hear large amount of people publicly confessing that God does not exist. They are people who are comfortable, at least able to feed three times daily, able to travel from one country to the other, and they don’t feel any shame about their declarations.

The Bible says only fools will say God does not exist (Psalm 14:1)

You don’t need God during your trying times, you don’t need Him just during your sickness, your calamities, your failure, your broken-hearted affairs or et cetera.

You need God also and more during your moment of joy, your festive periods, and when you are rich.

Yes, you were once poor, wretched, but God raises you up, giving you so durable wealth that transformed your entire life. And now, must you abandon God after you have gotten what you want?

It is pure foolishness when you push God aside in your moment of wealth. In fact, it is complete ignorance. Without God, you never had this idea of being rich. He is the one who open unlimited doors for you to get to where you are now.

If you join the rest of those ignorant ones, and declare that God is no longer useful, then you are heading for trouble. Stay on with God for He is your source of wealth. His is durable, lasting and He will protect you abundantly.

Avoid pride, flee from earthly boasting, but rather boast in the Lord by sharing your testimonies with the world. Let them know how God removes you from perverted poverty to stunning wealth. Tell them about the love of God.

The more you appreciate God for your wealth, and you acknowledge Him every second, the more blessings will come to you, for God will multiple your wealth many folds.

Please do not give way for stupidity; remember, it is God who gives you power to get wealth.

Peace!

A Prayer For Your New Week

The Lord answer you in the day of trouble! The name of the God of Jacob protect you!” Psalm 20:1 (NRSV)

The book of Psalm is very powerful! It contains lots of inspiring notes any one can use in whatever moments.

I love Psalm 20 so much because the first part of it carries higher weight that you and I require for our day-to-day life-affairs. I am going to break the verses from 1 to 5, and briefly highlight on them.

The first one says, ‘the Lord answer you in the day of trouble’ and ends with an exclamation mark. This is complete assurance. You need not worry anymore if you are in Christ Jesus, for the Lord will never abandon His people. The Lord will help you, He will shine His countenance on you, bring you assistance from every corner of the earth.

The Second part says, ‘The name of the God of Jacob protect you’, ending also with exclamation mark. Anywhere you are, God will guide you; cover you jealously under His protection. If you have any doubt about this, please read — Psalm 23:1, & Psalm 91, these two chapters are life-comforting, and will remove any doubt you may have about God’s protection over you. I strongly believe in my heart, about the protection of God over my life.

I have been rescued so many times, from many dangers, and if I start counting them now, I don’t think this page will contain them all.

In the same Psalm 20, verse 2 – 3, the Psalmist states, “May he send you help from the sanctuary, and give you support from Zion.  May he remember all of your offerings, and regard with favour your burnt sacrifices.”

If you are a giver, giving strongly & genuinely to the work of the gospel, definitely, God will protect you because you are so precious and valuable to the Kingdom. I am not talking mainly about money-giving but I mean giving any form of your resources, and energy for the sake of Gospel; that means reaching out to other, to the needy, to the poor, to the sick, the orphans and the destitute.

Do not think God does not see your giving, your offerings, your generosity, and good deeds, He sees them all, and He will never forget them, to pay you back when you are in need, personally.

I keep reminding you that gospel is not just about carrying bible and running round the street, to preach to people. Gospel is the message of peace, and for you to get to the heart of people; you must help them, make them happy in every way. You don’t expect somehow who hasn’t eaten for three days to willing sit and listen to you preaching. Likewise, you won’t see anyhow in pain, pushing aside his agony to listen to you.

Psalm 20:4-5 says, “May he grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfil all of your plans. May we shout for joy over your victory, and in the name of God set up our banners. May the Lord fulfil all your petitions.”

Do not give up in your demands, for God will answer you soon. He is not sleeping, or without memory. He does not and never forget you. He will give you your request shortly. Your heart desire is what you yearn for, with your entire being, and God understands, He knows about you and your desire, and He will grant them all to you.

You will not pray in vain. You will not fast for days in waste — for the name of God is —I AM THAT I AM — and when God says He will, surely He will.

You need to hold on to your faith, do not be shaken even in the face of difficulty, do not panic, do not be weary and do not denounce God.  He won’t allow any shame, any disgrace, or mockery to come to you. He will guide you, protect any of your welfare, fights your battles for you, defeat your adversaries, and He will raise you higher than your imagination or expectation.

Wait upon His, for in due season, I mean within few months, good news will come to you and your heart desire will be yours, in Jesus mighty name, amen.

Remember, do not forget to appreciate God when you are celebration your victory. This is very, very, very important.

Peace!

Please, Come back to God!

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid” John 14:27 (NRSV)

Everybody is afraid! Believe it or not, the entire world is panicking! Every individual just want to find the meaning to the events happening around.

Have you ever heard someone says; ‘why is this happening?’ This is because many sad, worrisome events going on in the world, the earthquakes, the wars, the terrorism, the suicidal rates, the murders, and several crazy issues, are indeed, very scaring.

Often, if you are not careful, you will found your faith, shaking. It is normal because you are human. You have feelings, you understand everything, and you have the ability to discern between good and evil.

And Jesus Christ knows how much we are going to pass through on this earth; this is why He leaves us this beautiful assuring message in the verse above.

There is the world peace, such that your government promises (but never fulfil), the one from your social leaders, from your banks, your office, your clubs and lots of them, BUT the Peace that comes from God is completely the opposite.

When the Peace of God is upon your life, it surpasses all human understanding because everyone around you will see the impact of this Peace on you. The Peace of God is durable, comforting, assuring, and life changing. You won’t feel any fear, or worry about anything, because you have the assurance that God is in charge.

Don’t listen when you hear the entire world leaders coming together, in bide to bring world peace. This is just human arrangement, and no matter how they try, they will end up wasting so much time and energy for nothing.

Can you ask yourself; ‘what is the tangible result of last year Copenhagen Global Warming summit?’

Jesus says in the book of Saint John 14:30, (NRSV), “I will no longer talk much with you, FOR THE RULER OF THE WORLD IS COMING. He has no power over me.

The attempt to find world peace is okay, but looking for such through 100% human effort, is entirely a waste of time. Every leader must come to realise how much the presence of God is needful right now.

We can’t bring in world peace all by our own human efforts, because the devil will not watch us succeed in that. Devil is the ruler of this world, and he is meant for destruction, for war, for bad, for sadness, for calamity. Nothing good comes from the devil. He hates peace so much that he would do anything; I mean absolutely all in his strength to eradicate peace. He is a creator of confusion.

We need God right now, to help us, to bring us His peace.

It’s so sad that the leaders overlook God in this current issues happening around. You can’t put God aside, and expect your situation to improve. It’s like filling up a basket with water.

What a depressing waste!

I repeat, forget about world peace! Come to God; ask Him to fill your life with His peace. Pray to Him, for you, for your loved ones, for your neighbours, for every area of your life. Don’t stress yourself about the issues going on right now, rather, be at Peace, do not be afraid, and do not panic, because with the Peace of God upon you, you have nothing to worry about.

Peace!

Gospel of Peace — The Only Antidote For World Peace!

“As shoes for your feet put on whatever will make you ready to proclaim the gospel of peace” Ephesians 6:15 (NRSV)

We have so great a wonderful privilege being saved, having the knowledge of the word of God, and being the carriers of our precious Holy Spirit.

I am so glad to be a Christian! This is not just mere talk, it is my earnest declaration, and each time I remembered where I used to be, before embracing salvation, I can tell you, I really appreciate God’s profound love.

Back then, it was messy, a tough ride through the jungles of life, having so much to struggle about, but never getting to the point of finding the meaning to happiness.

Every moment, I want my life to praise God. You know what? I don’t think I will still be here posting this. The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ works, and still working in me, to make a new me, and to produce the entire image of Christ in me, the reason for my divine calling.

The Gospel of Peace requires no stress, no rituals to perform. Just your faith, your belief, your compassion, your readiness to understand the love of God.

Take quick thought at the fast changes in the world, you will come to know that you must not abandon the gospel of peace. People around you, those in your world, in your neighbourhood, at your working place, and everywhere, are waiting for you to tell them about Christ.

You don’t have to carry your gigantic Bible along the street, and be shouting in the name of the Lord. I have seen many doing this, and majority of them are out of self-interest and pure hypocrisy.

Read the verse above; the Bible says just about anyhow you put on your shoes, this means, anyhow, just preach the gospel of Peace. Use you testimonies, your life experiences, your knowledge; the events when God takes you out of many deep waters, when miracles burst out in you, so many way, just preach the gospel.

You contribute to the kingdom of God when you do this. In fact, you can use your resources to preach the gospel. Through your generous giving — of money, clothes, food, shoes, books, shelter, et cetera, many lives will come to the Lord.

Now is the time for you to get serious about this. Do not wait until you are ready. Do not show any sign of laziness, or excuses not to tell everyone about Christ. Start now, preach now, give now, support now, encourage now, bless now, distribute now, show faith now, and bring now the gospel of peace to your world.

Peace!

There Is No Way You Can Travel This Alone

The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and to release to the prisoners…” Isaiah 61:1

There is barely little or nothing, you can do as Christian when you don’t have the Holy Spirit in you life. You can say you are a believer, and that you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as you Lord, and personal saviour, but I want you to understand that Christianity does not just end there.

Christianity means, having the image of Christ in you. And for you to get to that point where you can boldly declare you have run the race, then you need the spirit of God upon your life.

Please understand that Christianity is a race. You can’t embark on this journey all by yourself. Along the way, there is every tendency that you can get weary, famished, tired, worn out, or even thinking of making a U-turn. This is normal because you are human; you have the flesh that covers you, and the blood that runs in your veins.

For you to be able to complete this race, you need God’s strength, His help, and all that you want from Him to put you through. And this is why the Holy Spirit of God comes in.

Oh, what a sweet experience, having the spirit of God, taking total control of you! When the He comes upon you, He will change you, remould you, transform you, cleanses up all the mess you have, and bring out the new you, the remarkable new you that the entire world will see the changes in you.

Like my previous mail, I will repeat again, you are not saved to stay that way, but you are saved to preach the gospel by any means, to make known to those in your world, and outside of it, how God manifest in your life.

And to bring out that conviction, that perfect message, that resounding delivery to people, then you need the spirit of God, because part of His duties, is to bring tremendous inner conviction to anyone you preach to.

With the Holy Spirit in your life, your words is able to proclaim peace to a frustrated soul, you can change any life, you can bring hope to the lost, you can transform a dead marriage, and bring to alive again. You can do more, and more for God, and not just that, you as well, will notice the indescribable transformation in every aspect of your life.

Believe me, you are the embodiment of the Holy Spirit, and you must be ready to produce unspeakable positive reports for the glory of God, and for your Christian calling.

What You Need To Survive Now

“Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt.” Psalm 123:3

I was thinking about the events going on around us; I mean the death, the calamity, the suicides, the accident,  the terrorism, and lots of them, and it just occurred to me, that what we all need at this point in time, is purely the mercy of God.

In whatever you are doing this week, wherever you are, and in whatever situation you find yourself, I implore you, ask God for His mercy.

I bet, you need it, truly.

Peace!

The Reason Why Our World Is In Complete Mess

“The man said; “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate” Genesis 3:12

I have noticed one very important issue in our world, and that is; we don’t ever want to take responsibility for our actions. Often we tend to blame others, believing that what happened to us, was not our own doing but the fault of these people.

To get to a point of peace, understanding and deeper commitment, you and I need to know that whatever we do, however we acts, in whatever direction we take, all of these, are our own doing.

Take a look at the book of Genesis; when God searched for Adam, called out to him, Adam replied in Genesis 3:10, revealing his sin.  And when God asked him how he (Adam) knew he was naked, and if he’d eaten from the forbidden fruit? Adam responded not directly, pointing out the woman, Eve, as the one responsible. You can read that again in the verse above.

Adam has the choice to refuse the fruit from Eve. After all, he was the one in charge of the animals, he named them, cared for them, and thus Adam was not a dummy. Rather, he chose to join Eve in eating the forbidden fruit.

That is not all; and then God turned to Eve, demanding to know why she did it, In Genesis 3:13b, Eve said; “The serpent tricked me, and I ate

Can you now see the trouble? How did Eve know it was all a trick? It just literally means she was aware of the danger behind, but she too chose to eat the fruit, and without any remorse.

Believe me, from the creation, man and woman; have been so selfish, self-centred when it comes to accepting their fault. None of them, Adam and Eve, wanted to owe up to their sins.

Maybe if they had confessed directly, the rest of mankind today would not have been living under the curse (Genesis 4:14-19).

We have this same problems going on among us. We dislike the idea of owing up. You can see the typical example with USA and Iraq.  Do you know that the war in Iraq was pointless? America has no business entering the country in the first place. There was no weapon if mass destruction. Everything was just a complete failure! When the United States was supposed to be dealing directly with Afghanistan, they were languishing in Iraq.

To day, they were out of Iraq, but they have left devastating impact on those people and their country, and till this moment, USA, has not owed up to being wrong about their judgement and the war.

You can see this too among individuals; anyone can mess up seriously, killing each other, stealing, divorcing, et cetera, but when they get before the judge in court, you will hear these suspects saying ‘NOT GUILTY.” Isn’t that ironic?

Someone indeed committed this crime, he knew he did it but yet, he will never owe up. Why? Because he may have gotten the message from his lawyer who will advise him to say ‘Not Guilty”.  We are living in a world of lies, debauchery, false accusation and the lack of responsibility.

If we start accepting out wrongs, owing up to them, being straightforward in our judgement, I know, this world will be at peace, and we call all live well. Let us learn to accept our responsibility for our choices, the decisions we made ourselves, and let us flee from blaming others, who are completely innocent of what we did.

Peace!

What Do You Care For?

“Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom for the future.” Proverbs 19:20 (NRSV)

Everything we do, we are and we know, are pre-ordered. The life we live, in our own way, in the midst of people, and in our societal lives are governed by laws.

We are instructed; ‘DO THIS and you don’t have any problems — DO NOT DO THIS or else you face the law.  When you check thoroughly you will fully agree with me that we cannot do without the law.

The same is applicable in the spiritual sphere, we either live on for God, or we choose the other way round. There is no escape route in between. And in the ways of God, He set out His instructions for us, not because of the need to impose these on us, but for us to learn, to adapt and be able to know how different He is.

If God brings us into His kingdom and there are no laws, or advices for us to follow, then we are free to do as we like, and because of this, we may end up messing up big time.

Let’s sum this up quickly; in the Bible, there is no way God instructs us to smoke, to steal, to lie, to kill, to commit any crimes. What He tells us is, we must avoid all these, and embrace the way, blameless, and spotless, without any blemish.  Despite, many folks find pleasure in drenching their God-given lives in excessive smoking and many nasty things.

In a recent figure, France is one of the countries with the highest rate of rapid killing cancer patients. Majority of these victims are cigarette addicts.

They inscribed on the cigarette pack ‘Smoking is dangerous to health,’ yet; they still continue to sell it at alarming rate.

I thought where there are laws; there will be no crimes, BUT what an irony!

The people that implement the laws are the ones misusing them. This is pure misguided society in every form, without any possibilities for amendment.

Many people have failed to gain wisdom for their future, some have ruined theirs already by their decisions, after they failed to heed to God’s simple and not rigid instructions.

Do you know many patients with cancer of the lung wouldn’t have had this, if they had fled from smoking?  They choose to determine their own fates, willingly signing their own death certificates.

The sum of all this, is about obeying instruction. You preserve your destiny and life by listening to God, avoid sinning, running away from getting yourself involve in unworldly, and unpleasant civilisation.

The Bible does not condemn you living in this world, instead, it is written that you should flee from all kinds of evils.

There is no obligation to this. You don’t have to obey God if you don’t want to but remember, you are the one responsible for your life, the way you live it, what you do with it, how you manage it, and of course, your personal relationship with your maker, God.

Peace!

How To Get Out Of Your Egypt

But for a whole month — until it comes out of your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you — because you have rejected the Lord who is among you, and have wailed before him, saying; ‘ why did we ever leave Egypt?’ Numbers 11:20

God was addressing Moses here, after Moses went to Him on behalf of the Israelites who severely complained and in dire need for meat. Like I stated in my previous posts, the Biblical Israelites did not fully appreciate the manifestations of God in their lives.

Now, they earnestly complained for meat, and worst of all, they threatened Moses by saying they regretted coming out Egypt.

When referring to Egypt in proverbial form, we mean it is a place of dead, horror, isolation and such that anyone must flee from. It is not a place of comfort; rather it is a haven of hell.

God loved the Biblical Israelites so much, He did all for them, brought them out from slavery, nursed their pains, comfort them in their moment of agony, soothed them during their depression, wiped away their tears, all, when the need arise and treated them with extreme love BUT these people are so ungrateful.

I am not going to dwell on this here, because you knew what eventually happened as result of their ungrateful demand. Sure, they got the meat they cried out for but when you read through, Numbers 11:33; you will understand the penalty they paid for their attitude.

In the post, I want to liken your situation with that of the Israelites. When God brought you out of a place unto another, do not complain. It may be in your place of work that you have a sudden change, or it may be that as result of terrible situation, you are faced with no options than to relocate from your present home, office or country.

What you may not realise is that you are moving out of your Egypt to your God given divine Canaan land, a place where you will find peace that surpasses all human understanding. It is in your best interesting that life must switch the page for you.

Anywhere you are newly, do not complain, rather, appreciate God for giving you a new place, a new home, a new job, or a new country. The more you show your gratitude to God, the more you are telling God that you acknowledge His love over you and surely, He will move the more on you behalf.

Do not be like the Biblical Israelites who failed to understand how much God loved them and instead took Him for granted.

I implore you, avoid complaining to God, no matter the situation you found yourself. Make it the opposite, and that is, give Him praise and continue to believe Him for better change. And He will help you.

Peace!

It’s Time to Come Back To Your First Love

And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people despise me? And how long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the signs that I have done among them?” Numbers 14:11

Recently, a woman and I were discussing the Bible, and God’s mysterious ways, and she said; “I usually get angry when I read the Old Testament”

“Why?” I asked her, wondering.

“The Israelites are the worst, ungrateful people. They kept sinning, and the Lord forgave them but these people are so stubborn. The more they sinned, are being punished, then they will cry to God and He will forgive them, yet, they will go back into sinning.”

This woman’s word stayed firm in my head, and I couldn’t help remembering this each time I read through the Old Testament. Indeed, the Israelites in the Biblical days are just too wayward, and truly ungrateful.

It just seemed they never appreciate what God did for them. He took them out of severe slavery, parted the seas for them to pass through, destroyed many gigantic nations & kings for them, fed them with manna, with meat, provided water via the rock for them, BUT these Israelites remained worst off.

The greatest mischief they’d committed was confronting Samuel, the prophet, and demanding him to anoint for them a king, which under God’s acceptation, Samuel did.

In spite of their crimes, God’s steadfast love remains forever with them; His mercy and compassion did not go away from these people. If you look at the history of the biblical Israelites, and compare it with the modern day events, and countries, you will notice the similarities. Take a reflection on the USA & Nigeria; they have serious issues with terrorism, religion war and many issues, respectively. From these countries, several crimes abound almost without any remorse, such as murder, killings, kidnapping, forgeries, natural disasters, war, and et cetera. In diverse times, each country, government, and its citizens failed to find God first in their situation, thus depending on their personal understanding.

But these countries have seen God’s abundant love manifesting forever on them. God has been so faithful to them, blessing them, protecting them from calamity, providing for them, and sustaining them in all means.

This is because in Numbers 14:18, Moses, addressing the congregation, said; “The Lord is slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression…

It is the steadfast love, mercy and faithfulness of God that preserve, protect and sustain. Like the Israelites, America and Nigeria only need to return to their first love, to place their burdens upon His shoulders because He will take care of all for them.

There is no need fighting against humans in the name of restoring peace. You don’t fight such battle and believe you will win. It only results in losses of human lives.

God loves us, He cares for each and every one of us. When we as nations, come to God, ask for forgiveness and then comes the restitution, then we shall find peace, such that surpasses all understanding.

So, will you abandon all, now, and return to your first love?

Peace!

Can You be Counted Righteous?

“And Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD counted him as righteous because of his faith.” – Genesis 15:6

Abram became Abraham (Father of many nations – Genesis 17:5), as result of his unshakeable faith in God. In spite of his old age, of his weak body and that of Sarai who eventually was called Sarah (Mother of many nations – Genesis 17:15), Abraham became a legend of all.

Listen, faith and believing work together. That you have faith in something, something, does not necessary means you believe in that thing. Many people knew God exists but these people don’t want to believe at all in the power of salvation or Christianity.

This is individual opinion but I am not here to tell you how your own judgement about God should be, rather, I want you to fully understand this context of the verse above.

The Bible says Abram believed God. This man’s conviction about God began long, long ago while Abram was still living among his family. When God called Abram, the man did not argue nor refused to obey the Lord. With 100% humility and submission, and despite the objections that must have risen, Abram, having no idea where he was going, just picked up his wife, his servant, his property, and MOVED ON, to obey God.

If Abram had refused, believe me, God would have chosen someone else or find the way to convince Abram but God, who knows the heart of man, knows how humble and useful was Abram.

Do you believe God the way Abraham did? It is because Abraham’s faith and believe that God blessed him.

When your faith remains unshakeable, irreversible but strong in the Lord, there is surely nothing that will be difficult for you to achieve.

Any time you are down and worried, think of Abraham, who left his household, his parents, siblings, relatives, wealth, and all, and followed God, and for this, he (Abraham)’s life became that of Abundant blessings.

Do not waiver, never be weary, be strong in the Lord, believe in His sovereignty, and let your calling as Christian be worthy of such then God will count you righteous just as Abraham, in Jesus name, amen.

Peace!

How You Must Live A Simple Life

“Honour everyone. Love the family of believers. Fear God. Honour the emperor.” 1 Peter 2: 17

The above verse is very simple, easy and not too strict to follow.

1)   Honour everyone: respect people. Treat them the way you want them to treat you. Do not disregard or look down on them. You must understand that people matters a lot in your life.

2)   Love the family of believers: do not ridicule your fellow brethren. It does not matter your position in life. Never think of any fellow Christian as inferior to you. Rather, enjoy being in their midst, in the church and anywhere you meet them. Love them genuinely, pray for them, assist them in whatever way you can, admonish them and of course join them in sharing the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

3)   Fear God: this is very important in your journey of life. You fear God because you must, because He alone deserves all reverences. Obey His law, His instructions that he set out to guide you in your Christian life. Love God with all your heart, let Him know how much you love Him through your daily prayer, worship songs, praises, reading the bible and preaching the gospel.

4)   Honour the emperor: obey those that rule over you. This means the police, the council leader, your governor, your president and also your spiritual leaders, meaning, your pastors, reverends, bishops and other. Do not be rude to them. Follow the law they lay out for you. Do not curse them because if you do, you are only looking for troubles for yourself and God has not instructed you to curse your leaders.

I hope this helps you. It is not difficult; neither does it cost you anything to pay.

Peace!

Getting Right Your Divine Compass

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven” Ecclesiastes 3:1

Do you know that everything you do, your make, your long for, or you desire, all have specific time and season?

Whatever you will be on this planet earth have been predestined. They are not just the way they are presently. They were designed to be even before you were born.

Do not forget that with God, everything is well organised. He does not just work anyhow or often the way you want. God has His own timing for everything. There is no one on earth who is as organised as God.

Remember I stated this before, about timing, and I will not relent on this. Life is all about timing, about season, and events that happened to you, or around you, or in your world, are not just that way. They are meant to be.

You may be seeking God’s face for something. Never forget that the timing is very important in this. Several times, I have asked God for what I need but some of my requests did not materialise at those periods I thought they would, but they came later on, at the best time.

It is best when you have what you so desire at the appropriate time. What if you get it at the time that is not great for you? What will you do?

If you look closely at the ways of God, I mean the ones you knew; you will see that God’s timing is perfect for you and in all your endeavours.

Are you desperate about something? Or are you already getting tired, thinking God is not going to answer you? My brethren, do not panic, never lose hope and make sure you hold on strongly on to your divine Faith, because God is surely going to show up for you, and grant you all your heart desire, in Jesus mighty name, amen.

Peace!

When You Have A Good Heart….

“No one finds security by wickedness, but the root of the righteous will never be moved.” Proverbs 12:3

I discovered long ago that one of the easiest things to do is; evil. It has so strong power that can render anyone powerless for it to use. If you agree with me, you will see that committing crimes these days are so simple, without the criminals having any remorse for their actions.

The power of evil, of the devil, tries to supersede that of God, not just in crimes but also in almost every area of human lives.

There is truly no doubt about this because this issue began during the days of Adam and Eve when they disobeyed God. Since then evil no longer becomes difficult but so easy for human.

In spite of all, of all these bad sides, I am here to boldly announce to you how much the supernatural power of God exceeds the evil. God is the creator of heavens and earths. He alone has the power to make things happen, to stop things and to rule out.

He gives us the choice in life to live our lives the way we want. God does not force us, He never did, and He won’t start that today. The reason; He respect us, His creations, in His own image, and giving us the liberty, which determines that we have the responsibility over our lives.

In the book of Joshua 23:11, Joshua himself addressed the Israelites before his death, saying, “Be careful, therefore, to love the Lord your God…” and then he went on telling them how they will pay for deserting God.

That you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour means you now have the image of God, and this is to do good all the time, without ceasing. It becomes your natural goal to do good to people, to help, to bless and to avoid crimes. Through the help of the Holy Spirit, your heart changed, cleansed and remoulded.

When you have a good heart, it brings good lucks to you, such that you have or will ever imagine. Greatness becomes your order of the day as you life change, transforming you to better person. Make it your obligation today to bless others, to do good at all times. Show your sincere love for God by your good & genuine acts.

Do not choose the ways of evil, avoid joining wicked ones to murder your fellow humans, or attacking innocent ones.

You are the embodiment of Christ on earth, you are a life-giver because you have the image of God in you and for this, flee from evil and stay diligently doing good.

I pray for you, in Jesus name, amen.

Peace!
