Wait

“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” Psalm 27:14

There is nothing as pleasant as PATIENT. It is a very hard thing to do but the end result is extremely rewarding.

I would like you to know that if you are able to put all your trust in the Lord, if you firmly stand on your faith in Him, believe me, you will with bountifully rewarded.

God is aware of your need. He knows your thoughts, He sees your tears, and He understands your feelings. There is nothing that escapes His eyes. If you fully understand this, then I don’t think you should be worry at all.

When God is the author of your life, then all will be well. I may not be able to understand what you are going through because I am not there to see with you, but God is forever there for you.

This is why I want you to be very, very, patient. It may take so long as you think and it may be come on time, despite, you need to wait. Just keep your faith strong in the Lord.

Do not give up. Never think all hope is lost. Don’t ever condemn your life as useless. Rather, wait and keep waiting. Everything will be fine.

Peace!

Don’t ISOLATE yourself!

“And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, “ Acts 2: 46

A Christian journey is and cannot be done alone. You need fellow brethrens to help you through. Just as you need them, so also they too need you. It is a must for every Christian to come together and embrace the Christian live as one.

My little words for you today are — do not forsake the assembly of your fellow Brethren. You need them, believe me. In your moment of problems, they are the one who will be there to console you.

Life is not created for man to be alone. This is why you must be close to ‘true’ Brethrens in Christ.  Don’t isolate yourself. It is too dangerous. Rather, be happy and get to meet other sincere Christians in the Lord.

Peace!

Finding Meaning to Your Life

“But godliness with contentment is great gain.” 1 Timothy 6:6

When God is first in your life, you will be contented with your life. But when God is not presiding your life, then you will never be satisfied with your life. You will always want to find meaning to who you are and so you will search from anywhere and everywhere, all in bide to find meaning to your life.

To be with God is not a barrier and to serve Him throughout your life is not a force; it is you who is to decide, who is to ensure that you are willing to follow Him. There is no how God will force you to be with Him. He is the one who created you. So He wants you to always be with Him.

Do not think that God is going to be angry with you for deserting Him. Rather, He will do everything to bring you back to Him. Of course, He won’t use force in doing this, but by His never-ending love and affection for you, I bet you won’t hesitate to return to your maker.

Listen, your life is full and happy with God. You will always find contentment when you are fully grounded in Him. Do not look anywhere and anymore. Stay with God! Be ready to live your life solely for Him and you will see that your life will be forever contented.

Peace!

His Tears, Your Deliverance

“Jesus began to weep.” John 11:35 (NRSV).

I have weathered so many storms ever since the day I was born and I would have drowned in them all, but glory be to God!

He saw me through them despite my doubt. When I wept, He wept with me. There were days I thought all hopes are lost. Then God showed me His incomparable self.

I am telling you about my life because I want you to get to know that your situation is not forever.

When you are in sorrow, when you are weeping in that hidden corner, when you bite your lips in anguish, when your heart is heavy with lamentation, when you feel your life is hopeless, PLEASE know this- God is weeping with you too.

He is a compassion God. He feels your pain, He shares your trouble, He is there when you don’t realise this.

He won’t leave you to bear your burdens all alone, because He is there to carry your burden.

I would like you to give your worries, I mean all of them to Him and let Him take over.

If Jesus can heal and raise up Lazarus, what else can He not do.

Do not weep anymore. Do not be sorrowful. Do not think your life is finish. None of these negatives is for you.

Remember, God weeps too.

Peace!

Sole Shepherd

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1

Security is the most important in the life of a man. Wherever such is missing, anything is bound to happen to that man at anytime.

If a man is under protection, he will not fear anything. In fact, he will live his life in tranquillity because he is at safety.

God is the ultimate protection. He does not sleep and does not slumber. He watches over you at all time.

You may hire a security guard in your house or as an escort. What you want is for that person to protect you. But what happen if this person fails one day when you thought he is there protecting you?

You must understand that a security guard is mere human like you. He has no power to protect you from the invisible.

He can only protect you in the physical but still, this has some limits.

Only God is able to protect you. He is the Good Shepherd and He sees to all your endeavours. He provides for you as well without permitting any evil to come your way.

As He protects you from the physical problem so also He protects you from the invisible.

Aren’t you glad to hear this?

Make it your uppermost to permit God to protect you, to be your sole provider and be your Shepherd.

You won’t regret this.

Peace!

Your Share of Life

“Is there a thing of which it is said, “See, this is new”? It has already been, in the ages before us.” Ecclesiastes 1:10

I keep repeating this and I still will. That is, life is a circle! It comes here and goes round and round and round, non-stop.

This means that life gives us each day an idea for something. Then it goes on to give another person another one. The truth is, whatever life gives you, and you must make use of it.

Idea is a wind. Life gives it to you, and it comes to you through your thoughts. You need to grab it immediately and make positive use of it, because if you don’t, it will blow away and life will take it immediately.

Once it’s gone, life will take it to someone else. If that person too does not take it, life will take it and go give another person until someone who will use it finally accepts it.

A friend of called this idea — a spirit.

She is right somehow because if you notice, an idea will pop up in your head to invent something. Instead of you to jot it down immediately, you will decide to do that later. Maybe the idea comes to you at night. By the next morning, you won’t or may not remember the idea anymore.

Then few months later, you will hear or see someone you never know or perhaps you knew, now inventing something from the same idea. Then you will start wondering how come this idea you once had leaked to this person.

This is why idea is a spirit and I quite agree with my friend on this.

For this reason, you must note that nothing is new under this earth or heaven. Everything you see or hear or being invented has all been in existences before the ages and they will forever be like that.

This is why you must cut out your own share of life and make the best of it. You have the spirit of God living inside of you. He gives you wisdom to be productive and live.

So what are you waiting for? Don’t let any idea runs away from you!

Peace!

What a Divine Mystery!

“Surely God is great, and we do not know him; the number of his years is unsearchable.” Job 36:26

When Moses saw God, he saw only the shadow of God. If Moses had seen God in real, believe me, he would have died immediately.

Also, maybe if Moses had seen God, the gospel will not have any power. The bible says in several books of the bible and chapters that no one can see God.

It is true that many people have seen Angels in celestial forms or human forms BUT none of these people have seen God.

Isn’t it amazing how God operates? We all have heard of Him. We believe in Him but we cannot see Him. I bet that if we see Him physically there will surely be no more respect. In this world where crimes and sins have become the order of the day, anyone who see God may even insult Him or talk to Him anyhow.

I am so, so, so glad that no one will see God or capable of seeing Him. They may draw up a false caricature of Him but that is there own business because their drawings are fake and do not hold any power.

No one knows God’s age! Interesting! He is before the world is created, before your and I or our generations ever exist.  You know what? Scientists and the so-called historians can dig up whatever they like about God and His existence but God will turn their findings to foolishness.

I repeat, there is no one on earth or that will come, who will be able to search up and dig up the number of God’s years.

I am so happy to be part of God’s children and His kingdom! What a divine mystery!

Peace!

GOD & You

“But the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His steadfast love.” Psalm 147:11

A shepherd ensures he protects his sheep from danger. He loves them, I mean each of them without any bias. It is his joy when all is well with his sheep.

And his sheep will do anything to stay forever with their shepherd. They will fear him.

This love is unexplainable. It is a solid one.

God is a Shepherd. His joy is complete when we obey Him, ready to live our lives for Him. If we are with Him and we obey Him, doing His will without any grudges, then we fear Him.

For this, God will do anything to make us happy. He will proves His love to us.

Please be close to God. Fear Him and obey Him. He will prove His steadfast love to you and in every area of your life, in Jesus mighty name, amen.

Peace!

In His Might

“He heals the broken-hearted, and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3

There wouldn’t be any hope for the broken-hearted if God has not step in. He sees the pain, the anguish and the suffering.

He alone understands, and better than anyone else what it really means to be broken-hearted.

When your heart is broken, you don’t see any joy anymore in life. Nothing interest you like before. All you focus on will be the lamentation and there will be this wound deep down your heart that refuses to heal.

I have experienced this before; not once, not twice but many times and during those terrible moments, I would have drown in them.

I thank God daily for seeing me through my ordeals. He healed me and banded up my wounds. Without Him, believe me, maybe I would have committed suicide.

I knew you too have gone through this, even several times or you are still going on with this.

The good news is GOD will manifest His love in your life! He does it for me and I know He will do the same for you.

Don’t ever panic. I implore you to relax in the hands of God because He will heal your broken heart and bind up your wound, in Jesus name, amen.

Peace!

Praise the Lord!

“The Lord exists forever; your word is firmly fixed in heaven.” Psalm 119: 89

May the name of the Lord be praise! No one can be compare to Him. And no one will ever be like Him. He lives on forever and ever, amen.

Come on; join me to worship the Lord! All glory, all honour and all adorations be unto His holy name!

Hallelujah!

Peace!

Let It Always Be with YOU

“Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, for it is always with me.” Psalm 119:98

Christianity is not complete without the instruction of God. For you to live a complete life of a true believer, you need and you must follow the word of God. You must do it with all your heart and your entire soul.

There is no how you can fight the battles in this world and succeed without the word of God. He gives you His commandments so that you can conquer all your enemies.

For instance, God says you must love everyone. If you know you have an enemy and this person has shown himself or herself to you. By loving the person irrespective of whatever this person is doing to you, is capable of making the person regrets his or her actions and later on comes to you for forgiveness.

Love is God and God is love. Love is part of His commandment.

In the midst of a conflict, if you choose to be quiet instead of shouting at the same time with that person, then you are wiser. God’s word does not authorise you as Christian to fight with anyone. It does not permit you to create enmity with anyone.

This is why you need to embrace God’s commandment with your entire life so that you can be wiser than those who hate you. Make it your habit to live daily on the commandment of God. His laws are not too difficult. Rather, they are for your own salvation, to protect you, to guide you and make your life an eternal blessing.

Peace!

In My Distress

“This is my comfort in my distress, that your promise gives me life.” Psalm 119: 50

There is no one who is without any problem. We all have our personal problem(s), and the differences are in what we have, how we got it and how to solve it.

Life is not a bed of roses. If anyone comes to tell you that life will remain bright without you having any problems, please be very careful with this person.

While on earth, Jesus Christ faced many problems especially from people who were against Him. They did all they could to prevent Him from spreading the gospel. They tried to stop Him from healing the sick. They attempted so hard to seize Him and Kill Him but they failed in all these.

They failed because God did not allow them. It was when the time came for Jesus Christ to pay for our sins that God permitted them to capture Him. For this we are celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ today.

He paid the debt, a ransomed one, which no one can. He died for you and I. And today, the third day, He’s risen from the dead! Hallelujah!

For this reason, you must not forget God’s promise. He says He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will never give you stone instead of bread. He will see you through all the troubles that you are going through.

Be at peace, brethren, because the Lord will comfort you. Just remember His promise. He never fails and He will never fail.

Peace!

Will Tomorrow Comes?

“Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Luke 6:31

It is easy to condemn other people than for us to condemn ourselves. We talk pleasure in that as if we are created to condemn. Then the bad part of it is that we feel so terrible when other people condemn us in return.

We need to ask ourselves, why do we fee bad when people condemn us? And why do we feel elated when we personally are condemning others?

We live in the world of mystery. You may keep looking at the world with your physical understanding but the truth is, there is more to this world than you see.

Our lives are interwoven by our actions, our speech and our ways of lives. When we do something to people; our actions produce back to us what we gave out to these people.

If you do well to others, or you speak well of them, or you bless them in one way or the others, of course, you too will harvest that which you have done to them.

But in the other way round, if you treat people badly or you insult them, do not think that you will escape being insulted by someone else.

Like I told you, this world is mystery and you must be wise to understand the rudiments of it. And because of this, life is 50-50. This means that whatever you do to others will be done to you too in return.

This is the reason why you must be very careful with your relationship with people.

  • Be ready to treat people with love, care and affection.
  • Smile at all times.
  • Speak with kindness to people.
  • Be genuinely interested in people even those you work with.
  • Be honest. There is nothing that repulses a man faster than packs of lies.
  • Live your life as if tomorrow will never comes.

Peace!

All Glory, All Honour and Praise!

“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” Isaiah 54:10

I don’t think there is any need to explain this verse to you. All I want you to do is praise God for His everlasting compassion that changes not. Glory be unto His name forever and ever, amen.

God is forever be praised. It is not to me that all glory should go to but to Him for He alone deserves all.

No matter the situations you are going through, I want you to be at peace and relax because He will help you out. He says that He will not leave you nor forsake you.

His name is Jehovah and forever will He be.

He says His compassion will not depart from you.

He assures you that His steadfast love will forever be with you.

And He promises you that His covenant of peace will stay on with you and your family and will never be removed.

Please join me to praise God! He is the King of kings, the Lord of Lords. He is the one who is worthy of all praises.

Blessed the Lord, oh my soul and all that is within me, bless His Holy name!

Peace!

You Need Faith!

“Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near;” Isaiah 55:6

The Lord is forever waiting and ready to hear you. But you must call upon Him. You must go to Him.

And the way to do this is by praying, reading the word of God, meditating, praising and worshipping Him. You may call this devotion but it goes beyond just this.

The only ways to get to God are through the ways I described above. And for you to be able to do this, then you need faith.

I repeat, you need FAITH. You don’t see God. No one sees Him YET we believe He exists and He hears us all the time. This is why even when praying, or reading the word of God, or worshipping him, or meditating before Him, you need to be strongly established in faith so that you will believe that everything you ask Him for is granted unto you.

He is near and you can find Him anytime you want. Just go to Him in FAITH!

Peace!
