“And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.” Luke 2:40

A man who has the grace of God upon him is blessed forever. He would pass through several ordeals but he won’t get hurt. He would succeed in all his endeavours such that everyone around him would come to love him.

The Grace of God is higher than your imagination. When you have the grace of God working tremendously in your life, everything becomes different. In fact, you won’t see the dark side of life and relax in it.

It is the Grace of God that gives a man abundant blessings and adds no sorrow to it. It the through the grace of God that many people’s lives are changed for the best. It is the grace of God that moves mountains, bringing out the peace.

If you are lacking the grace of God, then I implore you to go to God and ask for it. He will give it to you without any hesitation.

Have you not wondered why some of your colleagues are getting promoted with so many successes? And of course, they are born-again Christians. There, you light be wondering why you are not making it like them.

Believe me, it is the grace of God at work in their lives. The grace of God brings to full stop every lack, every disease, every trouble, every failure and instead, replace them with goodness, sound health, freedom, peace and of course, financial breakthrough.

Please, get the grace of God upon your life and you would come to understand how much you have missed having it after you get it.

Who Are You?

“Above all, my brothers, do not swear—not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. Let your “Yes” be yes, and your “No,” no, or you will be condemned.”   James 5:12

There is no one who can boldly says he has never swear in his life. Everyone swears and everybody believes that’s the way of life. For a born again Christian, this should not be a way of life because the moment you are in Christ, then your attitude should change.

You don’t have the right to live your life as if you don’t care about God. It is your duty to live your Christian life in a proper way, and one of these is to avoid swearing.

You need to come to the point in your life that you must let your word be as you said it. Do not indulge in lying or swearing because these are not the attribute of the child of God. You are to let your ‘YES’ be exactly ‘YES’ and your ‘NO’ be exactly ‘NO.’  When you are doing this, people in your world or around you or far from you, when they see you, they would be able to differentiate you from those in the world.

Your words determine the person you are and of course, these determines your relationship with the Lord. It may be that you have not realised how sinful this is, I would like you to stop it! Stop swearing! Stop lying! Stop turning your ‘YES’ to be your ‘NO.’  You can’t live your life in between, which is living today for Christ and living tomorrow for the devil. It is not possible.

May I ask you: “Who are you?”

Are You Spiritually Blessed?

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessings.” Ephesians 1:3

Life is not just about the physical and sadly, many people have failed to realise this. Life starts from the spiritual aspect and this is why your life STARTs in the spiritual before being in the physical.

When you value your spiritual life, then there will be tremendous balance in your life but when you don’t have any respect for the spiritual, it is where the problems would surface. I would like you to know that if you are blessed both spiritually and physically, you would come to understand and accept profound prosperity, and live a fulfilling life.

I don’t want you to limit your life to one struggling side of life. You may be going through a lot even when you don’t understand the reason why your situations are like that. You may be blessed physically and ignore the spiritual side, and for this, you won’t have a durable blessing.

Now, you need to sit down and ask yourself,

Am I spiritually blessed?

He Never Holds Back

“But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared.” Psalm 130:4

Forgiveness brings joy. And where there is forgiveness, there is peace. We are capable of doing wrong as result of our human nature. We are able to commit offenses that are too serious and might not let anyone forgive us BUT the bible makes it clear to us that God is not like us.

One of the reasons why people come to fear God and to respect Him is because He FORGIVES! God does not hold any grudges about what you and I have done through sinning against Him. He overlooks our wrongs and goes on to Forgive us when we acknowledge our sins.

Aren’t you grateful to be a child of God? I am so blessed to know God and I am sure you are too. God forgives no matter the level of your sins. He forgives because He loves you and do not want you to live in guilt, in shame or anguish over your sinful acts.

Do not condemn yourself to a corner and think that God will never forgive all your wrongful acts. You are not the one to decide for Him, to know what He thinks about you. He is God and He is love and for His love, He wholly forgives without holding back.

I implore you not to hold on today but to come to God and ask Him to forgive you. He will surely forgive you.

A Help Beyond Description

‘Then Asa cried out to the Lord his God, “O Lord, no one but you can help the powerless against the mighty! Help us, O Lord our God, for we trust in you alone. It is in your name that we have come against this vast horde. O Lord, you are our God; do not let mere men prevail against you!” 2 Chronicles 14:11

There is power and there is power but I would like to inform you that there is the greatest power on earth in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. King Asa did not just rely on his own strength. He trusted God. He knew that without the Lord on his side, and then he would be defeated.

I am using the verse above to illustrate the love and the power of the Almighty God. I would like you to come to the point in your life that you won’t fear anything because the Lord is on your side. And the only way you can reach that point is when you have fully accepted the Lord as your personal saviour.

The world may try to bring you down. They may even get to the point of getting you out of the world entirely but I would like it inform you that you must not worry because greater is the power of God than any of those.

Do not just rely on your own strength because it will not take you far. I want to you get closer to God and to call upon Him in your moment of needs. And for God to help you, He is not going to force Himself on you. He prefers that you come directly to Him and tell Him all your problems.

God will hear you even if you are not a Christian but believe me, there is more help for you than your imagination if you are God’s own child. This is why you must accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord. Call unto Him; tell Him to take over your life, to change you and to give you the strength to continue the Christian journey. Then wait and see how the Lord God will bless you and pulls you out of your troubles.

Christianity is not about Isolation

Life is not simply about you. Life means you having greater pleasure of sharing your life with others.

God created you to live in harmony with people. He does not want you to live as if you have no one.

There are times you may isolate yourself but when it comes to the extreme, you must be careful.

You are the church of God and for this, you must live your life in ensuring the welfare of your Brethren. Do not think Christianity is about isolation.

The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is of love, true friendship, harmony, love, peace and freedom.

I am telling you in the name of God to flee from total isolation from your fellow Christians. Start to love being with them, show them love, admonish one another, settle your discourse, avoid gossip, remove yourself from hatred, encourage possibilities and live together under the commandments of God.

To The Only Wise God

“To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” Jude 25

There are gods and there are gods but all of them are just gods. They lack everything, from knowledge to understanding. They are gods without any emotions, without any feelings. They are gods who will not shed any tears when you are in tears. They are gods who can do nothing to help you out in your time of distress.

Everyone tries to get help where they believe that can. And most times, people tend to have forgotten God in their pursuits. They have rejected the true wisdom. Out of desperation, they abandon the right path.

The end result is that these people discovered either too late or right on time that these gods are absolutely false.

The Good News is there is only one Wise God! He alone deserves all adoration and honours. He has the wisdom you need to get out of your problems. He can direct your path without asking you to pay a fee for that. He is willing to help you in whatever you want.

I implore you today to choose the only wise God. Believe me, your life is best with Him.

One Reason

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 11 Peter 3:9

We have the great privilege to be God’s children and to know Him. God does not have any limit. He does not know who to lie. It is human when people who enjoy breaking their promises surround you.

Also, people often do not have the patient to endure others. In the moment of anger, they can destroy anyone that comes in their ways. They may never forgive those who offend them even if these people ask for forgiveness.

The good news is God is not the same. He is not human like you and I. He is God and He never fail with His promises. This is just ONE REASON why you must depend 100% on God to live your life. You cannot do without Him. If you rely on the help of human, you will discover that they don’t live to their promises.

So, are you going to rely on God’s promises or not?

Get Rid of it!

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18

Fear is our worst enemy. In fear, we see no time for us to reason, to pause and reflect on our lives. We all have many issues, individually that need to be settles. We may have done something wrong, made so many mistakes in our lives or even have some problems that are not necessary our fault.

I would like you to know that no matter what you have gone through or you are going through or you will go through, fear will be a barrier to your breakthrough. Do not permit it to stand in your way.

Like the verse above, fear is torment. It will render you powerless, depress, and fill with anxiety such that if you are not careful, they might lead you to your grave. I pray this will not be yours in Jesus name, amen.

Let the love of God lead you. Let it guide you and be your shield so that you will come to accept love instead of fear.

Please, get rid of fear. Do not be afraid of anything because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

I Will Seek Them Out

“For thus says the Lord God: I myself will search for my sheep, and will seek them out.” Ezekiel 34:11

Everybody has the right to say he is serving God, at he is free to say whatever he wants but believe me, only God can point out His faithful one.

You don’t need to see a Pastor, or priest or any minister and conclude he is truly a man of God. People are very fast in hiding their true nature, which is why many people use to get carried away by mere appearances.

God alone knows those who are him and not. So my question is; are you ready for God to seek you out?

Set the Limit

“But Moses said in the Lord’s presence, “Since I am a poor speaker, why would Pharaoh listen to me?” Exodus 6:30

It is so alarming to see people complaining. I knew you must have witnessed the situations whereby some people endlessly talk about their lives.

Didn’t you find them so boring?

You must not forget that everything has limit. Life on this earth is not forever, which means it has limit. Even death too, because a dead person is not forever in a grave. He lives on after ward, though no more with us, to face the accounts of past life on earth with God.

So when you complain, try to set the limit and know when to stop.

Moses did everything he could to dissuade God from sending him (Moses) to confront Pharaoh. He thought God would change His mind and send someone else.
Despite his complains, God remained faithful and assured him of Aaron’s support.

God does not look at how strong or intellectual are you when he sends you on any mission. He looks at the inward to determine you.

Let God do whatever He wants with you. He is God and he would do everything to prove Himself in your life.

Give God the chance to rule your life. Throw aside all forms of complain and be willing to tell God that no matter your physical handicap, you are ready to obey Him, and do His will.

Inner Heart of Genuine Love

“Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.” 1 John 3:18

The greatest commandment is love. The four-letter word is so used and still being used and will continue to be used throughout the existence of this planet earth.

Many a times, people don’t have any idea about love but they just utter it! Love is not mere confession.

I don’t want you to look at God’s divine love and try to compare it to today’s societal love. And do you remember that God is love?

Today, people tell one another- ‘I love you,’ and the next minute(s) they would be saying- ‘I hate you.’

If you are ‘sincerely’ in love with someone, most times you don’t have to proclaim before people or that person believe because it would show from your action.

Love requires action. And when this is missing, then doubt creeps in. I would like you to review your life, to readjust and begin to love in truth and action. Do not just say it, rather, prove it.

Go into action and help your neighbour fixed that problem. Prove to your sister how much you love her. Give to the poor. Be truthful with your confession of love for others.

My prayer is God grants you the inner heart of genuine love for people and God’s kingdom in Jesus mighty name, amen.

Bridle Your Tongue

“A gossip goes about telling secrets, but one who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a confidence.” Proverbs 11:13

The worst thing about speaking too much is that you end up exposing what you are not to say.

Many people often end up becoming gossips through their reckless habit of talking when they are not supposed to. And when there is secret, then it should remain secret.

If you live on without having any secrets to keep, then you are not someone who can be trusted. You don’t have much choice about how you should control your tongue because God instructs you to bridle your tongue.

He gives you this instruction so that you can be able to keep a confidence, to guard secrets and be trustworthy.

You should not get over excited while with your friends and spur out what you should keep secrets. Be conscious of what comes out of your mouth.

I advise you to think for few seconds before you talk or reply to any one or question. Be ready to live the Christ-life that is spotless and trustworthy. Avoid getting yourself into exposing what you are not to say.

I repeat- Bridle your tongue!

Take it Easy

“Desire without knowledge is not good, and one who moves too hurriedly misses the way.” Proverbs 19:2

Patient is a virtue, and a very important one. Once you lack this, then you can never be stable in your life.

There are so much that you can achieve if you are ready to take one step at a time until you reach your goal.

When you worry so much about your goals and you hurry to get it done, there is every chance that you might end up making mistakes.

It is to your own honour and no one else if you learn to take things easy as they come to you. You have to be in control of your life and accept the power of patient.

With the wisdom of God residing in you, you can bring your desire to accomplishment. And how do you get this? By the knowledge from God. Ask the Lord to give you His knowledge so that you will be about to put your desire in accordance with His will.

Finally bring your knowledge into fruitful use to acquire your goals while applying patient until your requests are granted.

Spiritual Priorities

“How much more valuable is a human being than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the sabbath.” Matthew 12:12

Every human being on planet earth is precious to God. We are His handiwork and He cares so much about us, about our well-being and about our souls.

And because of His love for us, He gave us His precious Son who came and put so many things in order.

Jesus Christ was about to cure a man with a Withered Hand who was at the Synagogue, and the Pharisees who loved to tempt Jesus with their worthless questions, came to ask Him (Jesus) if it is lawful to cure on sabbath.

Knowing how tricky they were, Jesus answered then in Matthew 12:12 (read the above verse).

So many people have lost their priorities, I mean their spiritual priorities, when it comes to defining what Sunday is all about. It is true that people go to churches on Sundays but does it mean that God specifically instructed this?

The bible says in the book of Genesis that after the works of creation, God rested on the seventh day. The seventh day does not necessarily have to be Sunday. It may be any other day.

To worship God is not restricted to Sunday or to church services. To worship God with complete sincerity must be from the heart.

Worshipping God is not enough when you don’t prove the presence of God in your heart, which is by doing good to others.

Sabbath or no sabbath, Sunday or no Sunday, church or no church, none of these must be your utter most priorities unless you are able to successfully blend them in with what God expected of you.

Don’t be subjected to misplaced priorities. Be good to others. Make out your profound joy in helping others. Value the human life with respect and above all, let Christ be in charge of your life.
