Forgiveness Does Not Always Mean Restoration

The story of David, Shimei, and Solomon teaches a difficult but necessary truth: forgiveness is not always the same as restoration. Mercy may be given, yet trust may remain fragile, and consequences may still follow. Through this biblical account, we are reminded that forgiveness is real, but returning to the old ways is not always possible.
