Pray to Fall Into The Hands of God

“David said to Gad, “I am in deep distress. Let me fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is very great; but do not let me fall into the hands of men.” 1 Chronicles 21:13 NIV

It is so easy for any of us to commit a crime. And it all depends on what level is our offenses. I mean it is normal. We are human and this is sure to come.

We are not immortal, nor are we perfect. It is the grace of God that makes us all perfect, and without this grace upon our lives, we no doubt are prone to evil acts.

The bible says the heart of man is desperate, corrupt and evil, who can understand it.

I thank God for the precious gift of salvation, for the immeasurable love and the mercy He gives us. Without these and many more from Him, we are absolutely nothing.

This is why when we commit any crime, and we go to God, asking Him for forgiveness, He is forever ready and will forgive us, But what about men? Have you been able to see any man who will wholly forgive and forget, forever?

No! God is the only one whom we can offend, and He will forgive us, entirely. When you offend your fellow human, maybe your friend, your spouse, your children, or anyone, this person will never fully forgive you, because later on, this person will still come to remind you of what you did to him or her previously.

God does not remind us of our wrongdoings. Once He forgives us, then it’s over. He no longer remembers what we did. He no longer has the record of our offenses.

But can a fellow man be like God? Impossible! Thank God for God! Thank God for His supremacy, without which we would have been in trouble. I give thanks to the almighty Father, the creator of heavens and earths, the I AM THAT I AM, the ONE who is and who is to come, the Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Shammah, Jehovah Shalom, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Elohim, Jehovah Adoniah, unto Him be all glory forever and ever, amen.

Pray at all times not to fall into the hands of men, because the consequences are grave. Men will be men, and you have to be very careful not to fall into their hands. Instead, pray to fall into the hands of God, because if you do, He will raise you up, forgive you, and remould you into a better image.

Peace!
