“How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep?” Proverbs 6:9
it is a good thing to sleep but it can be true disaster if care is not taken. It is known that sleep is great for the body as it helps abundantly.
Have you ever thought of reducing your sleep and concentrating so hard on progressing in your work or studies?
There is no doubt that when you begin to reduce the number of hours you sleep and spend longer hours at your work or studies, you will gain more and be prosperous.
If you sleep longer during your hours of illness or recuperating, then that’s another aspect and I suggest personally that you sleep more for this.
Apart from that, learn to reduce your sleep. Do not sleep the next twelve hours or fifteen hours still fast asleep when you are supposed to be working or studying. It is for your own good and for your development.
God will support you when He sees how hardworking and determined you are. And when you tend to sleep the more and become sluggish, then He won’t bother about you because you are the one who made that choice.
For your own happiness and wellbeing, I implore you to sleep less but moderately and work more to advance financially and in every way.
