“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
I am a child of God. I didn’t just get this qualification like that. I become God’s child by salvation. I am deeply convinced that Jesus Christ came to die to pay for my sins, not just mine but yours as well.
There is absolutely no one who can die for his fellow beings. Don’t even think of the tale about Romeo and Juliet. That’s extreme fairy tale!
Jesus Christ is not mortal like us. He is the Son of God, the embodiment of the Spirit of God. He is God Himself in another form.
In spite of His supremacy, of His grandeur, His glamour, His status, of being our creator, Jesus Christ leaves all these aside, humbled Himself to the lowest rank by becoming the son of a carpenter that you and I will not end up in eternal doom.
What a priceless gift! What a self-less sacrifice! How awesome is His humility!
In your acceptance of the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ, you must continue to profess His supremacy with your mouth. Do not let your confession end up just at your church, or in the midst of your brethrens, or when you are happy. Instead, make it a duty, not just one, but the willingness deep down from your heart, to always confess that Jesus is Lord.
Also, you must ensure your confession about our Lord, comes directly from the bottom of your heart, and not just a formality. Believe that God raised Him from the dead.
By these confessions, you will be saved in every aspect of your life. In fact, your soul will be at peace with your Maker, and you will be able to understand deeper all about God’s sovereignty.
The question is; can you boldly claim and confess like me, without any doubt that you are a child of God?
