1. O God, who declares me innocent. (Psalms 35). His name is Yahweh. He decides who is faithful or not to Him because He alone knows the heart of men and women.
2. Free me from my troubles. (Psalms 27 & 116). Jehovah, the deliverer. Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Jehovah Elohim. The King of kings, and the Lord of lords. The Lion of Judah. He restores, and no one can destroy, and what He annihilates, no one can restores.
3. Have mercy on me. (Psalms 51). Jehovah is the God of many chances and NOT a God of the second chance. Seventy times seven equals four hundred and ninety times of forgiveness — Matthew 18:21-22— a lifetime of opportunities to let go. It means Jehovah is more than these calculated numbers of times.
4. Hear my prayer. (Psalms 40 & 69). He is not asleep that He is unaware of what is going on. He heard baby Ishmael’s cry for survival. He listened to the Israelites despite their many rebelliousness. Today, He hears because He is still the Same. He is I Am That I Am –Ehiyeh she Ehiyeh.
