“All these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the Lord your God:” Deuteronomy 28:2
I haven’t seen anyone perish who sincerely obey God in all his or her ways. You don’t lose anything when you are with God, and you won’t lose anything when you obey the Lord.
There is power and great benefits in obedience. You can see this in many examples around you. If you obey the rules and regulations of your country, you will be saved. Likewise if you obey your boss, you will found favour with him or her.
You don’t complain in the midst of obedience. You just go ahead and get done what you are asked to do. When God says GO, you pick your bag and GO. You don’t pause to query God and demand why He is sending you instead of others.
You can read through Deuteronomy 28:1- 14, which are about the blessings of obedience reserved for you that is if you obey. And if you continue from verses 15 to 68, you would see that they contains the curse reserved for anyone who fails to obey God.
I bet you are not ready to be cursed. I know you don’t want to see God’s wrath upon you. And I know you don’t want to lose God’s Grace and His Favour in your life.
So my question for you is, “Are you going to OBEY the Lord?”
