Your Sweet Enemy

“Discipline yourselves, keep alert. Like a roaring lion your adversary the devil prowls around, looking for someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8

Life is 50-50. There is an opposite side to everything. There is man and woman. There is white and black. There is hawk and hen. There is love and hatred. There is life and death.

And there is GOD and the DEVIL! Yeah! This is real! You don’t have to accept this but believe it! You know with God, everything is Good. So also with the devil, everything is Bad.

Please note – the Devil is ABSOLUTELY against God. He does his jobs, which are to destroy everything that God created.

Devil comes in several ways. He is crafty, cunning, smooth, intelligent, brilliant and full of false hope.

He understands the plan of God concerning man. The devil knows the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. He tried to stop Jesus Christ from dying for us. The devil knows the Bible from Genesis to Revelation – he’d quoted the bible to Jesus Christ while tempting our Lord.

What else? The devil won’t watch you serve God. He will do all it takes to make you sin and hurt God. He is nothing but your sweet enemy.

Devil don’t bother about non-believers because he knows they are his. He goes after Christians, I mean Born-Again Christians. This is why often you wonder why churches are having conflicts or why brethren are attacking one another. It is the devil! He is at work and he will create chaos in such a way that brethren, and churches will overlook his power.

Many Born-Again Christians and churches have fallen into the hands of the devil. Out of ignorant and lack of discerning Spirit of God, they’d allowed the devil to ruin their Faith in God.

This is enough warning for you. You cannot overcome the tactics of the devil if you don’t pray consistently, if you don’t read your bible daily, if you are not in deep communal relationship with God.

It is easy to fall by the wayside BUT it takes the Grace of God for a fallen Christian to return to God.

Therefore, WATCH-OUT!

Peace!
