Purification

“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10

One verse in the bible says, “The heart of man is desperately corrupted, who can know it? There is no doubt about this because no matter how good in character is someone, only God can detect the inner person.

I would like you to understand that anything is possible with this world current situation. A man can change from being good to being bad. It may be a sudden transformation or a slow process.

We live in a critical society, full of chaos, economic recession, natural disaster, betrayals, sudden suicide & death, divorces, cheating, and lots of them.

All these are such that can destroy the faith of a sincere Christian. He may not have prepared for this to happen but somehow, the negative changes creep into his life and that’s it! Shortly, he loses his Faith, his spirit becomes polluted, and his pure heart is messed up.

A typical example is Ray Boltz. I love his gospel music so much that my Faith in God grow extensively any time I listen to them. Then I no longer heard of him for years until one day when I google on him to find out why he disappeared from the gospel rail.

It was everywhere! Ray Boltz a gay! This was overwhelming for me! I couldn’t fight back my tears. I’d thought of him differently only to be disappointment in the end.

Later on, I realised it’s all about being deeply rooted in God. The heart of man is indeed fragile and susceptible to change. Also it requires the 100% presence of the Holy Spirit for one to live a life of God’s chosen one.

Give your heart and soul to God, and allow Him to purify your heart as well as give you the right spirit so that you will be able to live the life God calls you to live.
