“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness: but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” II Peter 3:9
When men make promises, often they don’t tend to abide by it. They may even keep on telling you that they will but if you are wise enough you will never rely on such promises because they are false.
This is entirely different from God’s promises. God never lies and there is no reason why He should. If He says He will do something, definitely He will. This is why no one can bear His name except Him.
God is the; I AM THAT I AM. He does not promise and fails to keep it. He is God and above us all.
Listen, wait on the Lord. No matter how far it may seem to you or how long you think your request is, do not panic. Just wait and rely solely on God because He will surely fulfil His promises.
He is not mere mortal that you should be afraid of, and He is not a liar as men do. God is God and that is why you should be at peace knowing that He will make your entire request come true.
You should have known this by now seeing how God is patient with all mankind in spite of the evils in the society. He wants everybody to come to salvation, to know Him, to be His and this is why His promises are real, not false like those of mere human being.
Do not give up, I pray you. Rely on God and He will definitely fulfil your heart desire.
