Help Your Journey

“If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there.” Psalms 139:8 NLT

This forenoon, I picked Joyce Meyer Ministries’ quarterly magazine from my mail box. As I walked through the doorway, my eyes fell on a headline that read, ‘Help Your Journey’. I was in a hurry to fix things in the house that I just put the magazine on the telephone stand near the entrance.

The heading stay stuck in my memory throughout the afternoon. Someway, I translated it to my personal interpretation. Sure, for me, it was a divine message. I need to add more extra devotions to my spiritual journey with God.

A few hours afterwards, I was passing by the table when I stopped short. Straight off, I am reading a different headline that said, ‘Help FOR Your Journey’. What happened? This time, I have just read the correct title. But early on why did I miss the ‘for’?

Then I knew it was indeed a deific transmission, which I like to apportion with you.  The point is for you to get to that realisation that you MUST help your journey. Your life is a journey and so is mine. Every soul on earth is not born at the same time. Even twins enter this Earth with time scale differences.

If you drive, you must have noticed that drivers can partake of the road together for sometimes. Notwithstanding, they are not going to the same destination. Earlier or later, the road becomes clearer and fewer crowds as they turn one by one in their respective direction.

This same process applies to your life. You no longer have any time to macerate. Your life is a great deal more important if you take seriously your relationship with God. It is not enough praying to Him only when you require something from Him or when you are in a messy situation.

Help your journey of this life by prioritising the position of Christ in You. As a matter of fact, many of the weird events in the world are clarifying the situation, and this is that a Christian, who does not help his journey will not relish the trip. Life gets more proficient and better when you are deeply rooted in Christ. You will remain unshakable and unaffected by the circumstances.

Hence, help your journey beginning from this year 2017 and watch how God will raise you up.
